Damn you Clovis Bray... you have struck again with your superior technology!

First off - PvE. While you've got a few options, only a handful are going to be big deals. Either Rewind Rounds or Subsistence in Column 3 paired with Onslaught or Kinetic Tremors in Column 4. Of those, Rewind is the more obvious pairing with Onslaught for constant high speed fire, though in the end pairing off these perks is up to you. Pugilist + Swashbuckler is also an option, but not quite as potent.

Now, the real meat is in PvP. This thing has chunky stats by default - among other things, you can get away without Arrowhead Brake at all thanks to a very nice 74 recoil. So whether you opt for perfect recoil or further range boosting is up to you. For mag, range boost is natural - and the Stability benefit of Ricochet Rounds is too good to ignore. For Column 3 you have Zen Moment, Lone Wolf or Dynamic Sway Reduction, and for Column 4 you got Target Lock, Kill Clip, or Tap the Trigger. Dynamic Sway + Tap the Trigger is a good duelling roll, but you probably want the lethality of either Kill Clip or Target Lock. Zen Moment vs Dynamic Sway is your preference, but I should also point out how good Lone Wolf is - 22 Aim Assist enhanced is enough to push this to a very nice 69, and the ADS multiplier most likely stacks with the perfectly synergistic Search Party.

Ultimately, your PvP pick is down to you, but any way you slice it - this dog has a bark as fierce as its bite. So go get one already!

Pretty good for PvE but amazing in PvP. It's actually by far the best 450 auto for PvP due to its absurd stats, good origin trait and great perk selection. You can choose between a kill chaining roll like Dynamic Sway Reduction/Lone wolf/Zen Moment + Kill Clip or a dueling roll like Dynamic Sway + Tap The Trigger.

Wasn't long before I was howling at the moon for this auto rifle. It is bloodcurdling savagery. The Rolls I kept are listed below. And my reviews of them.
Pvp rolls:
Corkscrew, Richochet, Lone Wolf, Tap the Trigger. Range masterwork (Favorite Pvp, Snappy, High aim assist long range dueling MONSTER.)

Smallbore, Richochet, Zen Moment, Kill Clip. Handling masterwork. (Obligatory kill clip roll for 6s. Confirmed Spooky af kill clip ttk is otherworldly.)

Smallbore, High Cal, Zen Moment, Tap the Trigger. Stability masterwork. (Really stable, mid-long range lazer beam, flinch does NOT exist.)

PVE Rolls:

Fluted, Extended Mag, Subsistence Onslaught. Reload mw (Feels insane when youre just dumping 720 rounds a minute out of the werewolf. bye bye ads)

Fluted, extended mag, rewind rounds, kinetic tremors. reload mw. (probably my favorite pve roll, very fun and who doesnt love KT?)

All in all, this weapon is an absolute unit. A stat monster with remarkable perks for pvp, and all around great options for pve too. You wont be disappointed farming this.

TL;DR: Great PVE and PVP weapon and a small perk pool makes getting your roll is very easy, and it's fast to farm during the event. If you're willing to slog through Gambit or strikes, you can find better rolls for PVE on other autos.

Bungie's been going OFF over the last few seasons giving us precision frame autos, especially with Onslaught and Kinetic Tremors, so it's worth seeing what each uniquely brings to the table. I've heard excellent things about this gun in PVP, but I'll divert to others on that because I'm mostly a PVE player at this point.

In terms of comparable kinetic slot 450s, we have Braytech Werewolf from Festival of the Lost, Breakneck from Gambit, and Origin Story from Vanguard Ops. All three of them have both Onslaught and Kinetic Tremors in the 4th column, and while there's other unique options like Attrition Orbs most people will likely gravitate to these perks - Fair Judgement also has Onslaught on its static roll, but Rimestealer/Headstone is really its claim to fame. Onslaught pairs best with Subsistence in low-mid level content while Rewind Rounds is a bit more universal but maybe not as fun. Alternatively, any reload perk can be a decent backup option but try to gravitate towards scalars because you already get +35 from Onslaught x3. For Kinetic Tremors, Breakneck uniquely gets Shoot to Loot which synergizes so well in higher level content.

So what does this gun do in PVE that the others don't? Honestly not too much. Within the group of weapons you'd compare this too, it DOES have Rewind Rounds, but that's not overly superior to the alternatives and neither is Overflow. If you do want a Kinetic Tremors auto, Chroma Rush can also get it. The reason you'd care about that is because the tremors are procced based on the number of bullets landed, which is also based on the weapon rather than the frame; a rapid-fire frame will activate far faster and more reliably because of the lower damage per bullet, and the tremors themselves don't scale by bullet damage but rather by enemy type. It also has a better origin trait for PVE by giving you a mini-Frenzy with bonus scalars for using the gun for its intended ad-clear role.

I have a BUNCH of great perk combo rolls with great barrel & mag options -- the first two columns are NOT deal-breakers unless it came down to these to delineate between identical perk combos in the 3rd and 4th columns. Most of those rolls have great masterworks, too: range for pvp and handling/reload/stability for pve, as necessary. Nearly none of my copies have stats that are made redundant with their various options, afaik. I also still have a near-perfect DSR + TTT pvp roll -- redundant masterwork -- with ricochet rounds and some other great choices, which dropped years ago in 2022 or 2021. Strangely, I rarely used it according to my crucible kill tracker (though that may have been the era where we had to manually set the initial trackers upon the weapon's acquisition, especially when old weapons had them added retroactively; for nearly two years weapons automatically have the vanguard tracker enabled, when they drop or focus into your inventory).

All of that is to say that after 20 days of hem-hawing, I can't make up my mind which to keep, so I kept them all. Ugh. This game sometimes. My vault counter is screaming at me and it's worth the anxiety bc this weapon is real good. lol.

I even deleted a DSR + KC roll twice bc, well, I had to dismantle something.

What I currently have (just listing perk combos here):
- the old DSR + TTT pvp
- Zen + TTT pvp
- LW + KC pvp (Lone stacks with the origin trait)
- RR + KT for pve
- RR + TL for pvx (pvpve)
- Zen + KC
- Overflow + KT (I've been chasing this combo for kinetic tremor weapons since Season Witch)
- DSR + KC
- I may have had DSR + Target Lock, but I know I have that on another AR anyway. Don't bother with TL for SMGs anymore.

I apologize for the excessive abbreviations and acronyms.

Side note: please complain to Bungie about proffering up solutions for vault space management that involve us unlocking extra perks per columns 3 and 4 for ANY weapon. Merging the perks (but not barrel, mag or masterwork or level status) of a redundant copy into a preferred copy should be on the table. We also need nass dismantling, which can't be done in DIM or Braytech despite those tools having other mass / "many-at-a-time" features, and mass unlocking/locking -- which can be done in DIM, etc. but it should be in-game as well for convenience.

We need more tools to curate our loot: "curation" implies searching, sorting, marking, and making such features and similar ones as "automatic" as possible (real curation isn't automatic, it's just that somebody does it for you whenever it is done at all, like "content" curation in an online library/repertoire of a service or platform, or item/artifact curation at museum exhibits).

The User Experience for Destiny includes our inventory management, in particular what we are able to do on our end. Key people and average users don't talk about this enough, and whenever I've brought it up, all I've heard or seen are crickets and blank faces. Merely adding more space is not good enough, and just bloats their servers anyway (though I know enough computer science to know that adding more search/sort functions & procedures to their code would also slow down their servers too; see Big-O Notation and how algorithms have "speeds" according to their sizes and complexities).

This puppy made me howl with joy with just how good it is. My roll: Fluted Barrel / High Caliber Rounds / Lone Wolf / Kill Clip. Search Party Origin Trait is the perfect synergy for the gun. It suits my play style of flanking and picking off targets when their focus is away from me. This puppy is staying with me for a long time.
