The best Aggressive Burst pulse since Blast Furnace, and maybe ever. An absolute stat MONSTER because of stock options, and can be run a number of different ways. Rapid Hit, Elemental Capacitor, Keep Away, Headseeker, Zen Moment, Kill Clip, Moving Target, there are so many great perks here. Can reach 100 range with 85 stability or 92 range with 100 handling, for example. Can roll double damage perks (Vorpal/Kill Clip) or double Strand perks (Slice/Hatchling) in PVE. Will undoubtably be a fantastic option in both modes for a long, long, time to come and is, in my opinion, worth suffering through comp to get. Get this thing now before it ruins your lobbies for the next 8 months.

Really unique and interesting aggressive pulse. I got a keep away/zen moment roll with a range mw, also pretty good barrel and round options. It's amazing in pvp, the sights are nice and it just feels clean overall. Fully crafted disparity is the only other pulse rifle that could hang with this. Slice sounds crazy and would probably be very good here too. I play way more pvp then pve, but I could see this thing cleaning up in pve activities as well. I'd recommend grinding out comp for this one, and getting a nice roll on the rose in the process.

Another Season, another Competitive PvP weapon. And just like the rest - its very very good for PvP.

A Strand 4 burst pulse, this thing actually has some solid PvE options. Rapid Hit is naturally an excellent option for a weapon that can reach near max stacks in one burst, Keep Away is also good and new perk Slice is EXTREMELY useful in the neutral game for its ability to Sever on any class. in Column 4 you have Kill Clip for damage, Hatchling for more Strand synergy, and Deconstruct if thats your thing.

But enough PvE talk, you're here for PvP. Rapid Hit, Keep Away, Eye of the Storm, Slice and Elemental Capacitor, and on the other side you have Headseeker, Kill Clip, Zen Moment and Moving Target. There are so many ways to build this gun for either Lethality or Consistency, and there is quite literally no better Aggressive Pulse in the game for PvP. In fact, its probably up there in terms of PvP pulses period, especially with the stat bumps via Stocks. Pick Arrowhead, Richochet Rounds, your perks and stock of choice and go ham. Rapid Hit/Headseeker seems the most popular option, and I can see why.

Overall, another excellent addition to the Competitive weapon roster, and one definitely worth a try.

Don’t bother with recoil direction on four bursts, go for fluted ricochet, rapid hit. I got a stability MW with short action stock and moving target and it rivals revision zero in the raw stat package department.

I'll be real; my roll for this thing isn't even very good (Vorpal + Deconstruct), and it still feels fantastic.

If Blast Furnace ever comes back around, things are gonna be real awkward when she finds out I remarried.

I am not going to lie to you, I don't PVP often so I was really looking for PVE options and let me say your roll is probably better than you think in some specific cases.

Vorpal is going to give this bad boy a 20% flat buff on bosses, vehicles, etc.
Next you have deconstruct, a 40% flat buff to vehicles, constructs, etc. plus it should auto reload some saving you more time with less reloading.
Lastly you slap on Hakke Breach Arms and you got ANOTHER 15-30% buff depending on what you're shooting.

Now you may think "so what" but you know what's coded as a vehicle? Servitors. Meaning that when we have Devils Lair as a GM or any Barrier Servitor when there is antibarrier pulse this thing is going to shred with about 75% damage boost WITHOUT any buffs/debuffs.

I know it's pretty niche but that's pretty insane to me - also throw in the ability to destroy vehicles with ease - so GMs with Tanks like armsdealer will get shredded.

I just got this roll from my runs this week and honestly even if it's not meta right now I can see this being a Beast in some specific content.

Now, I had some mixed opinions on this until I found the build I have now. I understand the reason for rapid hit kill clip (which I do have) but give slice and hatchling a try, it is really good for cover fire as they have to challenge you which a threadling will hit them or they wast time hitting the threadlings. Not only that but this thing is a stat monster, I personally prefer handling masterwork for the extra kick.

I use vorpal / hatchling for pve and got a rapid hit head seeker for pvp. Both rolls are good w max recoil direction but i would like better mags and masterworks on them so ill farm till i get them cause this weapon is worth it and im a pulse rife fanatic.

The two god rolls for pvp imo are:

1.) small bore, ricochet, rapid hit, headseeker, fitted stock, range masterwork, and counter balance mod. This nets you 100 recoil, 99 range, and 100 stability after rapid hit lands 4 headshots for two seconds and refreshes til enemy is dead. Basically youre almost maxed in 3 stats after the first shot and get faster reload to go with it. Id even be happy with combinations of extended barrel with target adjuster mod or stability masterworks too but would much more prefer the first choice.

2.) Keep away instead of rapid hit and a stability masterwork puts you at max range when keep away is active (almost... 99) and 94 stability and 100 recoil. It relies on distance instead of getting that first shot but almost maxes out recoil, range, and stability just like the first one.

I see the benefit of slice but its too gimmicky for me to ever use. I dont like pvp perks that require kills or abilities to work. I like always active perks like headseeker and rapid hit. Its more reliable. These are just the god rolls id consider to be the best. To each their own though. If my choices didnt inform you already, i hate handling and consider it a wasted stat. Dont come at me saying "but what about handling?!?!?". if i have max recoil, range, and stability, idgamff!

Consider Slice for PvP. Using your class ability causes your next few shots to Sever. Sever reduces an enemy’s damage output by 15% in PvP. A higher TTK for your opponent means that it’s harder for them to kill you. That’s a huge advantage.

15% damage reduction doesn’t sound like much, but let me put it like this: If an enemy has an Igneous Hammer with Golden Tricorn, they can kill you in 1head-1body. But if you sever them, their efficiency drops back down to 2head-1body. Slice will help you win fights you had no business surviving.

Kinda shocked that this perk isn’t in the fourth column. Yeah, you’d be exchanging stat perks like Rapid Hit for Slice, but it doesn’t matter. This gun’s base stats are absurd.

Wouldnt be too shocked. I think it's a 3rd column perk on every strand weapon so far this season.

I’m not shocked that it’s on a Strand weapon, I’m surprised that it’s in the third column instead of the fourth. Reducing your opponent’s TTK is just as strong as increasing your own.

Controller review. I've tried about 8 different rolls. I've tried fully committing armor mods to dex, targeting, unflinching and everything else. This thing feels terrible, duels horrible, and has mad phantom bullets.
