First column: Rewind Rounds or Subsistence for extending your magazine.
Second column: Firefly for excellent add clear and faster reloads when you finally need to reload. I can see One for All being okay as well if there if you plan to use it to finish off a major or boss after add clear.

With adept mods and stats, this is probably the best PVE machine gun in the game atm, I would recommend keeping all rolls until the Season 15 buff to machine guns to see where perks stand after that.

And don’t forget about high impact reserves with rewind rounds for some reasonable dps against majors and bosses.

I've had this since it released, but back in S14 LMG's weren't exactly the greatest and since then there's been A LOT of top tier 450rpm LMG's to contend with. However I'm now reviewing this gun after an abundance of big Machine Gun buffs and the release of Strand (which I will focus this review around) and yeah I can safely say this is still probably one of the best Machine Guns in the game, and is by far my favourite.

Here's what I think is the mother of all rolls for it and why;
First off, the definitive PvE roll I recommend is Demolitionist with Adrenaline Junkie/One For All and of course definitely Firefly (which is guaranteed) with stability/range bonuses and a mag size increasing perk with Adept Big Ones!

The reason for Demo is because of how valuable grenades are in endgame content like Master Raids, Grandmaster Nightfalls, Legendary Lost Sectors etc, which is the content where during ad-clear encounters a Machine Gun is going to be used the most so having a lot grenades is phenomenal especially on Strand because of the OP Strand subclass ability, Suspend.
Machine Guns have so much ammo now thanks to some hefty buffs and some Season 20 artifact mods (at the time of this review they are still available, that may not be the case if you're reading this later though) that it's borderline impossible to run out of Heavy making this the PERFECT "primary" to bring along into some of those activities where enemies are more beefy and there's lots of champions to melt through, you see with Demo on this gun it means you never have to reload and you will always have the ability to suspend targets, and potentially have backup panic suspends too + since the weapon is void it benefits from Volatile with Volatile Flow to increase DPS while on any Subclass and Bricks From Beyond to generate free heavy for itself, it's perfect.
Firefly helps it mow through groups of trash mobs very easily, and AJ/OFA makes it better for taking on the beefier targets easily while also being able to clear efficiently, it's a pick your poison type deal here but since you can have both the option of Firefly and a Damage perk you won't need another version of the gun for different situations, you can just select the perk you prefer for whatever activity it is. I wouldn't really say anything else is worth gunning for in the 4th column there though in PvE.

Now you've probably seen the rest of the perk pool and wondered why nothing else is worth getting? Well Subsistence, Rewind Rounds and Feeding Frenzy are definitely top tier options and you should keep rolls you get with them in case... but why use them when with Demo you not only get free, borderline infinite suspend grenades (amongst all the other grenades as well) but also instant reloads? Yes Rewind is nice for the continuous free reloads especially with High Impact Reserves but Machine Guns aren't being used on Bosses ideally, and yes Subsistence is great for never reloading when mowing through enemies but Demo does the same thing but ALSO gives free grenades. It's a no brainer choice.
Compared to Machine Guns like Commemoration and Unwavering Duty it definitely has a run for it's money, but what it has that they don't is Demolitionist and because of that it really just is that much better than them, sure they can clear enemies very efficiently and with no effort at all just like this weapon and some of these LMG's roll Incandescent or Killing Tally too which is great... but they won't net you free grenades, instant reloads and have access to high damage all at the same time.

And that is why you should grab this thing when it's available for all your PvE endeavours.

Great review another thing to add though is with the fragment on Strand called Thread of Generation you will get nades in about half the amount of kills normally needed with Demo because Volatile/Firefly count as extra ticks of damage with the normal shot, so you can get a full nade from 0 in about 4-5 kills easily. You can basically just walk around endlessly shooting and throwing nades until you run out of ammo it’s awesome!

Demo is def the play on this.

Tap the Trigger and Dynamic Sway together in PvP turn this into a laser beam, I love it. It's my go to PvP heavy, as I am a big fan of LMGs inside of Crucible. I used to miss my hammerhead, not anymore.

demo/adrenaline junkie is a match made in heaven, and that's no exception when it rolls on this weapon. add clear monster, orange/some yellow bar killer, and does wacky things with grenades. pvp, it has some great rolls too, most notably dynamic sway/tap the trigger. even without either of the two, it's kind of a laser beam in pvp.
add clear: 10/10 (duh)
major/miniboss dps: 9/10
boss dps: 6/10, recommend a solid grenade dps build to pair with it
lethality in pvp: 8.5/10, overshadowed by better choices

While Corrective Measure isn't a bad gun, it suffers from being a jack of all trades, master of none in most cases. The only reason I would use this gun is for a void grenade build. Outside of that, Commemoration is a much better, much more accessible void lmg with access to reconstruction, which is a much better perk than rewind rounds or subsistence, and is craftable. Also, Killing Tally or Firing Line are both great damage perks. In Crucible, it's just worse than a tap the trigger dynamic sway Unwavering Duty. It's not bad, but you can do better while putting in less effort

Id personally rank this gun up with hammerhead and commemoration.

Feels great to use, VERY low recoil.
Is very great in PVP
Is amazing in PVE
and has some really unique perk options and some other fun stuff (like demolitionist and adrenaline junkie.)

This lmg is a must-have

I got one with Rewind Rounds and High Impact Reserves. With these two perks you can put in massive amount of damage over a long period of time. Extended mags ties both of them together for extra shots being able to be fired off. And the curated roll makes it very good for PVP, so the one I got is very good for both activities.

This gun feels great for a LMG even before the buff.

Add the adept MW bonuses and great rolls and this thing currently whips ass, and is only going to get better.

Current roll is Hammer forge / Tacmag / Subsistence and thresh (Using firefly instead), would have preferred rewind rounds but it works just as good
