헬멧을 쓴 살라딘이 미소를 지었다. 거대한 용이 그들 위로 불쑥 솟아올랐다. 용이 뒷발로 일어서 숨을 쉬자 상처에서 흐르는 피가 빛나는 비늘을 뒤덮었다. 그의 손에 들린 거대한 도끼는 이가 빠지고 흠집이 났으며 끝이 녹아 있었다. 하지만 날은 여전히 날카로웠다. "우린 기사라고, 에프리디트 여제. 용 학살자가 되고 싶지 않나?"

Rewind Rounds + Explosive Payload

I hear that inquisitive grunt; "that just sounds like a decent roll, what's special about it?" Fire a gun with Explosive Payload. Tell me, what do you see? Two numbers? Do you know what that means? Two hits. Good job in figuring out. Mix it with Rewind Rounds. That means that Rewind Rounds counter double dips. Did you hit %100 of shots fired? Good job. Now, you think you'll get %60 back in the mag. But Explosive Payload is a good wingman; it's got your back. You now have %120 of the mag. No. It doesn't overflow. But hey, we're already doing shenanigans; don't be greedy. But let me do some math and give you another angle. If you have the standard Rewind Rounds you only need to hit approximately %83.33 of the magazine. But hey, for only one (1) Ascendant Alloy, you can upgrade to the enhanced plan! You need only %71.42 of the mag in hits. Buy now!

Ok, I hear ya so you ask: "Ok it's a gun that doesn't need to reload if you have good aim, but why would that matter?", "But I want a damage buff, what do I do?", and "What's with this tone in this review?" Well here's your answers to all three!

Champion stunning. Being able to continually pepper a champion with Overload Rounds, or damage a barrier with Anti-Barrier Rounds without worrying about bullets in the mag. Aside from that, Explosive Payload IS a damage buff. The explosive part of the hit has more damage. Generally, that's a %15 damage increase in PvE. And for the last question, I am writing this past midnight. I'm here to make jokes and spread the word. You won't make a montage out of it. It's not an inherently bombastic gun that brings stupid fun. But it is reliable. And I feel that that's a good aspect to have in high-end PvE.

Now if you'll excuse me, I am not going to bed. I am going to write more because I have nothing else to do.

I went with Rewind rounds + Kinetic tremors. It's a very viable option for dealing with champions.

pretty wild situation when you have 5 more-than-viable perks in column 3, eh?

RECOMMENDED ROLL:
PVE: Arrowhead Brake / Flared Magwell or Tact Mag / Demolitionist / Kinetic Tremors / Stability or Handling MW
PVP: Arrowhead Brake / Flared Magwell / Rampage / Kill Clip / Handling or Reload Speed MW

in PVE, kinetic tremors and explosive payload are the two standouts in column 4. as stated by enumex, explosive payload is excellent for covering champions, but kinetic tremors has unreal synergy with multiple perks in column 3. rapid hit for uptime and stability, keep away for accuracy and uptime, rewind rounds for uptime. rampage and demolitionist both synergize excellently with the mobbing potential that kinetic tremors brings as well, and demolitionist also synergizes perfectly with the new origin trait, explosive pact.

in PVP, transfiguration is very well known for its rampage + kill clip combo. get a single kill, reload, and this monster will start two-tapping T6 resilience and below. with radiant or any similar buff (empowering rift, weapon surge, etc.), that's a two-tap on ANY resilience. that's right: two shots to the head, ANY range, and that's a kill. 0.4 seconds. one of the most absurd TTK records in the game. the nightmare of many a game on disjunction or eternity.

Was doing the Shooting Gallery at Strider's Gate for the Neomuna collectible figure, and I tried out most of the scouts I own. This one feels AMAZING and helped me finish it smoothly.
I can't speak to it's PvE potential, just its' feel, but it's right up there with Doom of Chelchis for me. Great scope, sight, and the best range of any scout I tried (tried about 12 on this task).
And, it looks goddamn beautiful. The perks don't knock me over, but I'm going to try and get this one crafted.

So far I crafted mid - high end PVE roll for controller. I decided to go with Reload Masterwork because it's slower than a rocket launcher without it, barrel Arrowhead Brake, Tactical Mag, Rapid Hit, and Kinetic Tremor and because this thing kicks like a mule I kept counter balance stock equipped.
Now, before you guys decide to roast me about the redundancy of using this mod choice while already having AB barrel. Please understand I tested it this way because 99% of players are likely using full auto accessibility option, and if this player is also using controller there is benefit to it. And if at this point your still questioning the logic or failing to see relevancy, I kindly request you don't offer me your unabashed criticism, but I welcome any and all respectful constructive criticism.
That outta the way, this thing hits hard, very hard.. Using the on site target range at Relic hits on discs 10-15 meters out pump out 3,900 each without any recoil deviation 20+ meters hits dead on for about 1900-2100. Took it out for a spin on the moon and comfortably kept it equipped throughout an entire alters of sorrow run. It held it's own and it was easy to proc Kinetic Tremors multiple times, easy to the point I where I actually wondered if there was a bug.. But after multiple waves I feel like there's no bugs and this gun is just solid through and through. I'll update when I craft my "Fun PVE" roll.

The constructive criticism you asked for: Arrowhead Brake gives this weapon 100 recoil direction, which is the highest possible recoil direction. The counterbalance mod adds +15 recoil direction; it has no other effect. Neither of these things reduce the amount of recoil, just the extent to which the recoil deviates from straight up. If you are already at 100 recoil direction and add a counterbalance mod, it does not affect the stats or behaviour of the weapon in any way. You do not get 115 recoil direction, it stays at 100. It's not just overkill with diminishing returns, it is literally having no effect. If you want to use Arrowhead Brake, you can swap in a different mod without making your recoil any worse.

it's 150 rpm, not 120. And would also proc kinetic tremors in 5 shots with enhanced, which with 2.5 rounds per second vs 3 rounds per second (Hung jury) both proc tremors in 2 seconds
