TIP: New Season & Popularity Ranks
It's a new season! Popularity ranks can change rapidly at the start of a new season, especially on new weapons.
Be careful jumping to conclusions for a week or so as the meta starts to shake out.
TIP: Popularity Ranks
The letters F thru S below are Popularity Ranks. They measure how popular your roll is versus the most popular roll for this weapon among the global community. The most popular roll is ranked S+. The least popular is ranked F-. Popular doesn't necessarily mean "good"; unpopular doesn't necessarily mean "bad". Use what you enjoy!

Stasis Taipan:
It's a good weapon tho, I would go after something like Envious/Chill Clip or Envious/Precision Instrument
But not worth using over a damage perk imo.
So, let's start with the combos. This weapon's list of perks already dethrone Reed's for best Stasis LFR, as well as having quite a few strange combinations to choose from. Want full Stasis synergy? Headstone + Chill Clip for max freeze and shards. Chill Clip on this weapon is the safest option for long-range stun on Overload and Unstoppable champions, but it being a Heavy means that you'll have to make every shot count. There's the tried and true combo of ammo perk + damage perk, and while Suspectum doesn't have Bait-and-Switch (real kick in the...), it does at least have options in Firing Line and Precision Instrument, which can pair with Envious Assassin. Firing Line is a good, consistent perk that won't go away... but you will have to be playing on a team for that buff. On the other side, PI will allow for better damage AND it's solo-friendly... but it does take 6 crits to max it out, and it will fall off if you miss even once. This weapon also has the rare honor of being able to roll double ammo perks (FttC rolls in the fourth column for some reason???), but sadly, overflowing the mag causes FttC to not work until the magazine is base size. The two perks combined do allow it to dump pretty much its entire ammo supply without reloading if Veist Stinger goes off once or twice, but the DPS isn't strong enough to leap for a perk combo like that, especially since other weapons can do it better (I'm sure a few of you are leaping up and shouting 'Supremacy' right about now).
All in all, this is a decent LFR, but that's not saying much in our current sandbox, due to how weak LFRs are as a whole, and it was also introduced with a ridiculously strong LFR at the same time... If you wanna roll a good Suspectum in case of a future meta shakeup, be my guest. But I'm probably not gonna go out of my way to try for a godroll when I already have two good Adept Scintillations in my vault for when such a time comes.
