Ahhh finally, the Warden's Law is BACK BABY.
This gun is like that hot cousin you only see at the family reunion once every couple of years but they're always great to see again.
This gun is like when you see your waitress walking towards you with another pint of beer.
This gun is like popping the top off of a chipotle bowl, you just cant help but smile.

But in all seriousness, i absolutely love this gun! It was one of my favorite hand cannons back in the good ol' days and i am sure that is going to continue!!

My first roll came with full bore + accurized rounds + FTTC + Zen moment and i dig it!

The god roll I'm looking for: corkscrew rifling + accurized rounds + FTTC + Vorpal.

This guns natural handling and reload speed are worse than my parents marriage, but it slaps harder than a step-dad.

Very strong with Lucky Pants. A FTTC/Vorpal roll is one of, if not the singular, best option for boss damage with Lucky Pants. It certainly beats out it's legendary predecessor in the FTTC/Vorpal Seventh Seraph Officer's Revolver in boss damage. It is competitive with TLW and Malf on bosses, without taking up the exotic slot, freeing you up to use Anarchy to deal extra damage while you stack up Lucky Pants.
Though, without Lucky Pants, and as a general primary, it leaves some things to be desired. It being kinetic rules out any subclass interaction, and it's damage perks are fine but not great. I wouldn't put it over Fatebringer in terms of a general, workhorse kinetic HC, but it has it's uses. Mainly for hunters, and people unable or uninterested in getting a great Fatebringer roll.

It beeing Kinetic doesnt rule out any subclass interaction. at least not for Warlocks since we have Chromatic Fire. also it can still cause some interaction with the strand subclass and to a lesser extend with the stasis subclass.

Got 3 rolls with Enlightened Action and Frenzy and hoo boy does it feel dreamy, does decent enough damage and has enough reload buffs to not age you 3 years each time you reload it, 5/5 would dump 29 Vanguard Engrams into it again

(Note: Have not used in Crucible)

Personally I think it feels nice as a gun, at least in pve, but the damage factor is mediocre feeling. I’ll still use it, but it still feels more like a gimmick than anything else. Mildly disappointed, but still absolutely usable.

There is 100% a playstyle for this in pvp, people don't expect how much flinch it gives off or the 2 round burst it also basically doesn't move with the recoil pattern. Also very strong in PVE with a good lucky pants build. Defo worth the wait imo

most satisfying kinetic hand cannon it almost feels like a automatic revolver [unless you put on the full auto mod or setting]

for best rolls either go with vorpal weapon or rampage with enlightened action or perpetual motion

personally this gun is great but it doesn't perform the best in crucible, feels almost like a budget crimson but it does slaps in PVE, with the rise of Auto meta the amount of times you'll win a gunfight is slim as the burst feels lackluster, don't get me wrong with the right build and playstyle I can see this gun being a menace but for average hand cannon enjoyers it is fun but might not be the best one to use

The Health removal has arrived!
This thing is ridiculous and although it sucks for PvP in terms of duelling capability, pairing it with Lucky Pants turns it into a PvE health deleter.
My roll is:
- Hammer Forged
- Accurised Rounds
- FTTC
- Frenzy
Now I'd happily have Accu Rounds switched for Appended or Tac Mag to spare me the abysmal reload, but if you dont, slap on Backup Mag and you get 22 bullets.
In PVE:
You point this thing in the general direction of your enemies even in a nightfall and 11 enemies will die. I have pulled off one shots on most orange and yellow bars with max lucky pants damage stacks and you can pair this with Tractor Cannon. (Yes. Tractor Cannon. Seriously.)
In PVP:
The 2 burst at 50 damage base is nice and you can almost one-burst someone with Rampage x3, but its surprisingly hard to aim. Even at point blank, you'll notice a heavy amount of upwards drift.

I use vorpal / fttc on my hunter w lucky pants. On my other classes i use enlightened / frenzy. This was a double drop during the craftening so i made sure to gobble up my god roll adepts during that time. Its my go to legendary kinetic option for hand cannon artifact stuns. Obviously we all hoped for kinetic tremors on this but for raw dmg its great. In crucible i use it and it three taps and thats just fine. I dont feel disadvantaged using it in pvp at all.

Please Understand that this is not a bad weapon but its definitely not an amazing one.

In PvE its a kinetic primary which already brings it down a couple notches since as soon as you find an enemy with an energy shield this gun is going to hit like a wet noodle. Fatebringer and Sparerations with kinetic tremors are probably better options for PvE.

In PvP its definitely a disappointment while yes it feels awesome to shoot it simply does not do anything different than any other hand cannons. Round Robin does a better job two-tapping as you dont have to deal with any burst shot shenanigans while also having a faster TTK than Warden's Law.

Warden's Law is a neat hand cannon that was not given the right set of perks for PvE (Yes it has synergy with lucky pants but that is one very specific build used mostly/exclusively for GM's) and with a frame falls short in PvP

I wish bungie would have fully committed to PvE perks and had given it perks like Kinetic Tremors, Rapid Hit, Precision Instrument, and Firefly

Very good in PVE similar to crimson in damage. But in PVP this thing sucks it feels like Crimson but without the stability or range it feels horrible to shoot as well.
