TIP: New Season & Popularity Ranks
It's a new season! Popularity ranks can change rapidly at the start of a new season, especially on new weapons.
Be careful jumping to conclusions for a week or so as the meta starts to shake out.
TIP: Popularity Ranks
The letters F thru S below are Popularity Ranks. They measure how popular your roll is versus the most popular roll for this weapon among the global community. The most popular roll is ranked S+. The least popular is ranked F-. Popular doesn't necessarily mean "good"; unpopular doesn't necessarily mean "bad". Use what you enjoy!

In pvp I've been running closing time with headseeker and adept reload. Nice and easy headshots as my mag gets lower.
It should go without saying that there a better options than yesterday's question. But if you want a change of pace, and some flavor to your wardens law, this gun is a great place to look!
PvE - Two burst HCs are very solid for PvE content. You're likely to use this in one of two ways: (1) Voltshot with a reload perk like Rapid Hit or Air Trigger OR (2) FTTC and Vorpal Weapon with Lucky Pants on Hunter, though the nerf to Lucky Pants in Episode Revenant makes this a little less potent than before. Personally, I use Desperate Measures on Bold Endings (Stasis 2 burst HC) and find that the extra damage helps this archetype a lot, so I expect it would work well here too. Voltshot users should consider the slow reload and try to mitigate it when possible if the roll is missing a reload perk. Both origin traits help with reload, however Alacrity is only active if you are solo or last alive on your team and One Quiet Moment only activates when you are out of combat, with does not help when you are trying to constantly reload to proc Voltshot. I'm not kidding when I say Flared Magwell helps the reload a lot, and you can add an Adept Reload mod on top of that if needed.
PvP - The majority of the community don't really like this archetype in PvP, and with how effective 120s and 140s are I can't really blame them. Like in PvE, I can see this gun working one of two ways: (1) Headseeker paired with Lone Wolf or Rapid Hit to help with the ease of use. I have one that is Lone Wolf and Headseeker and find that it's much stickier than I expected. OR (2) Go for the only damage perk in Column 4 - Desperate Measures. DM x1 is a 10% damage buff and is enough to shift the TTK from 0.93 (4C1B all resil) down to 0.57 (4C all resil). I would still pair this with Rapid Hit or Lone Wolf, but I think To the Pain would work as well giving extra aim assist to hit those crits if you don't stow this weapon frequently. If you do try to use this weapon, make sure to consider your engagements a little more carefully. This thing has better range than you would expect, and you can catch people off guard with it, but don't try to challenge an Elsie's or a Bygones unless you like having a bad time.
TL;DR - 2 burst HCs are very solid in PvE and this one is no exception - Voltshot is great for it and Desperate Measures is there if you want the damage bump. If you like this archetype in PvP, I think it is set up to be the best of its kind (which it better be since it's a Trials reward). Dueling rolls with Headseeker or kill chaining with Desperate Measures give this weapon a couple of nice options. Slot in your preferred Column 3 perk and you have a really solid weapon.
