Q: What are masterwork rolls?
A: Most legendary weapons are capable of being Masterworked. The masterwork system is a way for you to upgrade your favorite weapons to their maximum potential.
Q: What does it take to upgrade a weapon to a masterwork?
A: Upgrading your weapons, in broad terms, takes a small amount of glimmer, legendary shards, and, most importantly, Enhancement Cores.
Depending on what Tier your weapon is at, the requirements to raise it to the next tier increase the closer the weapon is to being fully masterworked (Tier 10).
Q: What benefits do I get for masterworking a weapon?
A: Each tier that you increase your weapon will grant a small buff to a single stat, chosen randomly when the item drops.
Beyond that, at Tier 5 you gain access to a kill tracker. At Tier 10, your multi-kills will generate orbs of light.
Q: So what are these "masterwork roll" stats?
A: These are the possible stats that upgrading your weapon will grant a bonus to. Depending on what tier you are at, you can grant anywhere from 1-10 additional points in any of the stats listed to your weapon.
Q: Any catch with this?
A: The Bungie API currently says that all weapons can potentially roll with all stats as their masterwork stat. This obviously isn't accurate, as Blast Radius isn't applicable to, say, Auto Rifles.
The list you see on this page is trimmed to only show stats that actually appear on the weapon. However, it is possible that Bungie has additional logic behind the scenes that further filters these
possibilities to, for example, prevent certain items from being able to have an Impact masterwork. Until Bungie modifies the API files to 100% accurately display which masterwork stats are possible on
each item, take what you see here with a pinch of salt.
These arrows are sentient. They straight up know where they are and where they need to go. It's insane!
my first craft will likely be the PVE one tho, it gets archer's tempo and explosive head and someone on reddit pointed out that drawing and aiming a bow (they used le monarque in their example) circumvents the cooldown of gyrfalcon/stylish executioner, which you normally have to consciously think about unless you're somehow ok with it occasionally biting you in the arrears.
the only thing that could make this bow better imo is repulsor brace in the 4th column.
Nothing even close to the pvp roll.
There is no other bow currently in existence that has space bending railgun arrows that can turn on a dime to go around corners like MIDA shots. The arrow is where the quasimath is, baby. TTK on a bow isn't the point- its clean up, setup, and punish. That's what a bow is and does. This bow does bow harder than any other bow. It's the only bow that is even trying to be a bow. I implore you, take the hip fire reticle off of someone to the point you would be aiming at a third person next to them, you will still hit them. It breaks the reticle limit. Nothing else needs to be said.
It also adds 4 points of accuracy if you grab the enhanced trait.
Under your skin is hands down the most fun I have had with a bow in a while, Successful warm up really takes this to the next level.
The two i have right now are hip fire grip + successful warm up for pvp
and Archers tempo + successful warm up, for pve.
For PvE, Adaptive Munitions is the stand-out perk at present compared to other legendary bows. Archer's Tempo, Unrelenting and Explosive Head are always nice, too.
It's a pretty flexible perk list (even with Vorpal being notably absent) I'd expect it to find a home in many a Gaurdian's arsenal.
Or you can pair Archers Tempo with Warm up for fire a lot of arrows.
my current roll is tunnel vision/warm up and its a nice pairing, faster fletching with aim assist.
God Roll would probably be Tunnel Vision/Opening Shot for supreme arrow bending
