This gun has changed my life just like my Frigidaire FFCD2413UB 24’ Built-In dishwasher. Slaps harder than my dad on a Friday night after finding out the corner store doesn’t have his favorite beer. 10/10 recommend.

My PVP god roll:
- Volatile Launch
- Proximity Grenades
- Impulse Amplifier
- Full Court
- Blast Radius MW
- Adept Blast Radius Mod
This thing kills so consistently even on a miss thanks to the large blast radius and quick travel time courtesy of impulse amplifier, 5/5 heavy weapon. Full court allows you to 1-shot people with a void overshield from around 23 metres away instead of leaving them with about 20 health.

PVE god roll:
- Any launch perk will do, preferably quick launch / hard launch
- Spike grenades for bonus damage on a direct shot
- auto loading holster
- explosive light / cascade point (probably the former)
- velocity MW
- adept big ones spec
cascade point with cloudstrike might make for a decent dps next season? we'll have to wait and see. Explosive light is a tried and tested GOATed perk for a GL though, guaranteed to show results.

Explosive light was found by aztecross to be the best and then he said either auto loading, field prep, or even clown cartridge are good. Clown can get up to 12 in the mag

The thing is.... you need 6 orbs to get 6 stacks... and they only increase the explosive portion of your total dmg from grenades... wich is like impact plus explosion.
Explosive light is a 43-52% dmg total increase since the dmg buff (from 65-84% increased explosive damage) is only counted for the explosive part... So depending on spike grenades and small tolerances.... And only for 6 shots then you need enough orbs wich is not that easy to get inbetween switching weapons and doing optimal dmg rotation. (Again depending on lenght of dmg phases etc, for caiatl for example you probably wont have 6 orbs for each bell)
Since cascade is a constant 68% rpm increase... therefore more DPS, i think that this will be the way to go for the PVE god roll.

Also for day 1... if you accidentaly die before dmg phase... you loose all your stacks with explosive light. So... plus point for cascade again, thats my point of view.

The best-in-slot Heavy GL. Many are grabbing a few to future-proof for Lightfall in case the buffs turn Heavy GLs into the DPS meta, and I’m no different. So many good perks to choose from. Field prep, Impulse Amplifier, Auto-Loading Holster, Chain Reaction, Clown Cartridge all in Column 3. Explosive Light, Frenzy, Full Court, Cascade Point all in column 4. You could pick any combination of perks and it will put in work.
Personally, while Explosive Light is very strong, it’s only good for one mag and that’s enough to steer me away for longer damage phases. Instead, I’m more interested in how Cascade Point plays out. Since it’ll tear through ammo fast, I’d put on Field Prep to boost reserves and get fast reload on command. Definitely grab more than one, and see how the damage tests play out when Lightfall rolls around.

EDIT: I completely forgot how easy making orbs will be post-Lightfall. Yeah Explosive Light is the perk to chase. Still picking up a Cascade Point roll though.

As for crucible, what do you want me to say? It’s a heavy GL. Grab Impulse Amplifier and go to town.

If any grenade launcher is going to be great it will be this one there are so many great rolls for it. Pretty much the only perk I don't want in the third column is Steady Hands, the rest of the third column perks are at least good. The fourth column is a little less stacked with a whopping 2 perks that I don't really want in Rangefinder and Golden Tricorn and even then GT is still good situational.

The roll I'm looking for personally are Auto-Loading Holster with either Cascade Point or Explosive Light for boss dps. I also want a roll with Chain Reaction because I like the perk. The dream would be getting CR doubled up with ALH and Explosive Light so I could swap depending on what it is I'm doing.

Just got one ALH/Chain with explosive for my first adept one. It's out there and it's pretty good for multi scenarios.

Correct, volatile launch detracts from spike grenades. Go for hard launch and you will do more damage if using spike.

cascade point, auto loading, spike, and then a cloud strike. yes i know explosive light is pretty hype rn, but cascade point is something you shouldn't sleep on. and it also doesn't depend on orbs of light, i would also rock a stasis hunter with the exotic helmit that buffs arc damage even more after a doge.. i believe the damage buff lasts 10 seconds, i could be wrong on that tho.

the buff dose last for 10 seconds. and its 10% more damage when there effected by stasis, and then another 10% if your wep is arc. so dusk field, or super, switch to cloud strike, do 3 shots, switch to gernade launcher ((also have adept mag size, big ones hardly dose anything for this gun, you get an extra 2 shots, and i think a biger mag reserve tho im not sure about that, could be wrong)) dump the entire mag switch back to sniper, 3 shots, switch back... in light fall probably will be the best damage rotations on stationary bosses.. i say 3 shots cause of the lightning proc, you can also just dump all your cloud strike ammo onto it, then switch to your GL assuming you have auto reloader, witch you should.

Wound up finding an Impulse amplifier + Rangefinder with proxy grenades and tested it out for the sake of it. Do you like Mountaintop? I like Mountaintop. Introducing Mountaintop heavy. Enjoy.

This gun has too many great rolls for it's own good.

Most of the reviews aren't fully touching the most OP thing about adept Wendigo. It's the fact that it can get 2 left column perks.

Imagine Wendigo w / both Clown Cartidge + ALH. You put Adept Mag, you can get 7 (maybe 8+ haven't tried it yet). Then reload w/ Clown Cartridge on. With RNG on your side, you can get 11 shots.

THEN, and hear me out for this one, swap back to ALH + add Adept Big Ones spec.

BAM. 11+ shots in one go + 5 ALH after you swap and do more DPS with special. As long as you don't die (this resets ammo counts).

What I described doesn't even take more than 30 seconds to do in a raid setting.

No matter what DPS perk you commit to on right side, pulling off that many shots in a row is big dick DPS energy.

While spike nades is lethal and good, my raid team prioritizes mag dumping so Alloy mag was the way to go.

Now if you want raw damage on impact explosions then go with spike.
