This gun is absolutely maniac for devour warlock.

Nezarec's Sin procs for the pistols Void damage
Roll with demolitionist to shorten grenade cooldown
Pair this with Devour lowering grenade cd even further.

Oh.. and it spawn warmind cells.

My roll is with demolitionist + dragon fly. I've never had any problem with any level of add clear with dragonfly + nade spam + warmind cell explosions.

No opinion for pvp

Wasn't on my radar and I am pleasantly surprised. Got 2 from bounties. One was extended barrel/full auto/snapshot/ range MW roll and the other was extended barrel/full auto/vorpal/ range MW roll I love both rolls in the crucible and these will be my go-to energy sidearm for the foreseeable future!

THE Recluse killer, because of the nice perk pool AND being a sidearm, allowing for enhanced sidearm loader on a gauntlet alongside grenade launcher loader, something you can't do with recluse after feeding frenzy nerf. And warmind cells!

God Rolls:
PvE: Maximum stability barrel + Any mag option except extended + demolitionist/threat + Vorpal/Surrounded/Elemental Capacitator,

Even in 2024 this is pretty much the best Legendary Void Sidearm. Demo and Dragonfly pair together beautifully. Admittedly, it is fairly niche as Sidearms aren't the best weapons out there for add clear, but it's still a great option to have when you need it. Also being sold by Banshee today.

This is one of FOUR currently obtainable, non-sunset primary weapons which can roll with Demolitionist, making it absolutely insane for Void 3.0. The weapon is at it's best for hunters, who have the weakest opportunities for ability regen and thus volatile round up-keep when we inevitably lose volatile flow. - Unfortunately, it is currently excruciatingly difficult to obtain let alone with consistently. the weapon as for now is only obtainable when it is sold by Xur making it completely random as to when and what roles this gun will get. However, The others (Gnawing Hunger, Reckless Oracle, Bottom Dollar) all equally are obnoxious to obtain at present moment (Gnawing is the same, only Zur. Reckless is from GoS; safe to say that's not a common occurrence for most people. Bottom Dollar = gambit = severe depression) so this remains an S tier option for PvE Void 3.0 Builds.

TL:DR bungie please add more void primaries with demolitionist :)

Unless I'm missing something here, you are definitely forgetting about judgment and the last breath from the prophecy dungeon which can both roll with demo AND osmosis so they can use volatile rounds or adrenaline junkie for extra damage.

This sidearm does have random rolls which drop from the end chest in dares on some weeks, there's a spreadsheet out there somewhere showing what drops on what rotation and when that's going to be, so this is probably the easiest one out of the four you mentioned to farm for. Hope this helps!

PVE Roll: Hammer-Forged, Alloy Mag, Demolitionist, Vorpal, Range Masterwork, Backup Mag
Also rolled with tac mag but it only gives +1 so not worth it imo. Run it with devour and nez sin, nade every 2-3 kills, plus it makes Warmind Cells. Only downsides are the bad range and I also find myself running out of ammo quite often, which is something to keep in mind. Wouldn't replace my current primary but works great for Devour builds, and doesnt sunset for a while.

Woah, mama. The hipfire on this thing. It rips hard, kind of a shining example as to why 360 sidearms are a niche and rewarding playstyle.
PVE, it's a sidearm in PVE. Unless you're Mechaneer's, I doubt you'll get a ton of use, but it's nice for Void builds.
PVP, this thing aims for me. I don't even ADS anymore. I click and they disappear. Pro tip: Tricksleeves 100 AE. Shoot from the heavens.

Full Auto + Vorpal Weapon + Stability MW Review:

Opinion: I'm in love with this sidearm. Consistent and sexy. This sidearm is a sleeper (so so stats, N/A damage perks)

Pros: Recoil is perfectly vertical, handles really well , reliable, accurate, Vorpal, is a lightweight frame (ADS movement restriction also not as heavy on sidearms)
Cons: Range is low, No damage perks.

Recommended: Full Auto + Vorpal Weapon + High Cal + Range MW + Backup Mag. Good counter to shotgunners and supers

One of the most slept on weapons currently in the game especially in the current meta (S16), great damage and snappy performance even with an unoptimized role. In PvE it is great for most if not every piece of content in the game due to its amazing close range damage and unique god roll of Demo and Vorpal, Demo especially being important in a meta favoring regen builds. And in PvP it can be good on close quarters maps but will struggle against AR’s and Last Word spammers but with a Sidearm buff I could see this becoming an absolute monster in the right hands. Definitely dust this thing off if you have one in the Vault,

smallbore flared magwell demolition and vorpal.
I think this is one of the best nezerac weapon in the game, this or a good special GL.

Sight is a bit strange but once you get used to it, it's a exceptionally good sidearm.

With zen moment and some range 5/5 for PVP.
This is the same frame as Heliocentric but with zen moment...
Threat detector (or demolitionist) + zen moment = PVP God roll

PvE roll to go (at least for me):
Smallbore/Corkscrew or Flueted Barrel (Barrel doesn't matter that much tbh but go for Stability - it will make some stuff easier imo)
Tactical Mag / any Mag perk (Steady works - but then I would go for Hammer-forged Rifling)
Demolitionist - well basically auto reload + fast Nade recover, and if you're running it with Neza the Nade recover is insanely fast
Dragonfly/Surrounded - just for Damage I guess
Reload/Stab or Range MW

Best PVE sidearm for grenade builds.
Full bore, tactical mag, demolitionist, and vorpal weapon with a range masterwork, this thing shreds in both lower and upper end content. Full bore adds on the much needed range to deal with the shielded champs from a distance (mine has 46 range which is almost double the base range) and the demolitionist helps charge grenades for enhanced ashes to assets builds. Great with devour warlock and also with moebius hunter.
