PvE: got surplus + multikill clip, and i personally like it better than feeding frenzy since this thing just shred though yellow bar like hot knife thru butter, i found myself forgot to use abilities and that makes the gun even more accurate and deadly
PvP: 120rpm HC, dead man and shotgun apes is everywhere so..., i don't think this works

If it rolls correctly, easily has a recluse like feel and maybe even better! Mine is rolled with Fluted Barrel, Phase Magezine, Surplus, Multikill clip. And let me tell this thing SMACKS high level enemies with just one kill for MKC. The weapon is as well very stable when brought down to 600 RPM. Every time I play with it, it gets harder and harder to put the weapon down. I seriously can’t recommend this gun enough try it! And it’s omolon so it’s just a double win here!

This thing RIPS in PvE. Get a Multikill Clip roll (anything else in the other perk slots) and you're set. Only drawback is it's a Warmind Cell meta and this doesn't create them. If WM Cells ever get nerfed, look out for this gun.

Sheeeeeesh, Got a Feeding Frenzy Multikill Clip roll, and hot damn does it destroy, as part of the SMG master race this weapon is a total win. I'm not a PvP player so I cant really say if it does its job there, but I can say with certainty that this thing is fantastic for PvE. Pick it up, give it a try.

Go for Chambered Compensator, High-cal, Killing wind, Multikill clip. Strafing speed with a lightweight, and killing wind on top is prime. Great flinch, good red-killer.
(and if you get phase mag on the roll too then send it to me thanks)

I had Stochastic back in year 1, was in love with it when SMG's didn't have a great place. It clapped everywhere. I'm beside myself now that it's out. Phase magazine is a must, it's what makes the Variable great in my opinion. I was lucky enough for fluted barrel, feeding frenzy and multikill clip with range masterwork. Perfection, in PvE my friends can't get kills.

As amazing as this gun feels in PvE it’s awful in PvP. But it is a solid ad clearing monster. And feels good with a nice scope. Is it gonna make me not use my Ikelos SMG? Not a chance.

This thing is super viable in PvP and was able to compete with most close range weapons, especially shotguns, really effectively. Got a roll with Corkscrew/Ricochet/Killing Wind/Quickdraw. The "Phase Magazine" perk seems like it could be interesting, but I'm not sure what RPM nor impact it will swap into.

Really happy to see omolon weapons make a comeback! I got a roll on this with small bore, appended mag, zen moment and dragonfly. This beautiful thing is a bit of a monster in PvE, being a lightweight frame, and it's really stable. Being a SMG junkie, this might be my favorite legendary SMG to date.

Feeding Frenzy + Multikill Clip + 900 RPM SMG = New Recluse

Did some damage testing with the "new" Phase Mag perk. Deals about 1k more damage overall but about 4k less DPS. However because of the slower RPM you might be able to hit more accurately. Comes down to preference. As for the gun, it's a great SMG with Multikill Clip and a nice scope. My roll has FF however I will be looking for Surplus.

Ambitious Assassin + Firefly = best SMG in game.
Reload Masterwork combined with reload SMG mod make its reload speed so fast that its even better than Death Adder's FeedingFrenzy/Firefly roll.
Suggested Smallbore + Ricochet Rounds

one of the best ad clearing machines I've ever used, ambitious assassin/feeding frenzy then multikill clip and you're set for any casual content. buuuuut don't take this thing into pvp, trust me use shayura's or the multimach.

This thing fucking shreds in pve with feeding frenzy + mkc, literally recluse 2.0. Ikelos smg is probably better but this thing is way more fun.
In pvp just use Shayura's

Got it with Ricochet Rounds, Ambitious Assassin & Dragonfly..
PVE: You can only describe it as an Redbar-Massacre, in corridoors you can just hold down trigger and in worst case Ricochet or Elemental Explosion from Dragonfly will take care.
PVP: Okay for nice sweaty CQC, but there are better weapons to PVP and better rolls.

Great gun for anything PvE (not GM's tho). Does a lot of damage and with feeding frenzy and kill clip, you get that fast reload and extra damage which will make this gun great in witch queen. If you want to do legend mode you can run PHASE MAGAZINE which makes the gun similar to a seventh seraph or an ikelos. The gun has many sides to it and it is not only fun but it shreds so this is a must-have for the witch queen.

Oh how future war cult has spoiled us. This gun feels amazing and has a great perk of Feeding/MKC. Of course it’s not top tier anymore but it’s still a great option if you need a ad clear weapon that doesn’t rely on verbs.

Very first roll has FF/MKC, feels like recluse from the good ol days, except you can change it to 600 rpm.
