Don’t wanna grind gambit for Bottom Dollar?
Don’t wanna play trials for Igneous Hammer?

Ya know, I expected the re-issued version to feel like absolute garbage after listening to various YouTubers and streamers. So far I've actually enjoyed this gun a lot, and mine is far from being the best. Smallbore, Tac Mag, Tunnel Vision, and Wellspring feels quite nice. I'm landing crits with relative ease. Plus, because of how the gun sounds, every shot I take makes me feel like that keg hitting member from Slipknot. Bonus points? I guess??

If you are looking for a PvE roll I recommend Heating up + Frenzy. The stats are pretty bad that you need the perks to crutch on hard for stability and reload but 12 seconds of downtime for frenzy aint bad in PvE to get that reload speed. Surplus is also not a bad choice but you would have to manage your abilities to keep the gun running at optimal performance.

After losing my Loud Lullaby to the infusion cap gods, I eagerly await the return of this great hand cannon. Outlaw and rampage, though not as potent as they might have been before, were a great feeling combo.

Its super easy to get, osmosis is underrated on it as well. If the next 2 subclass reworks are anything like void 2.0, it would be very versatile. Even if you don't go for osmosis, the other rolls are really good too. There's always people farming essence so its not hard to just knock out a small grind for your roll a day. Am not a pvp player so I cannot give a good review for it.

Probably one of the most readily-available Kinetic 120s. Easiest farms considering you have Shadowkeep, finished the campaign, and did the essence quest already.

The reissue is a shadow of it's former glory. It's basically a pvp gun now. rip

Even with the 120 nerf I still think this’ll be a top-notch HC to go for. The tried and true combo of Tunnel Vision/Kill Clip on a 120 sounds disgusting. Though No Distractions and Heating Up have my attention as well.

Has lower stats than the Duke44 but can roll with perks that it can't have. Got one with subsistence and demolitionist, works very well in PvE as it almost never needs to reload on red bar adds as every shot that kills is refunded and every other shot is replenished by a grenade resulting in very unique and fun weapon. Can't say the same for PvP as one missed shot can result in a lost gunfight as the fire rate is slow and can't come with perks like quick draw or snapshot.

New season gave us a craftable hand cannon, but all I want is a new 120, so I decided to go back to re-earn this gun from the lectern on the moon. Reward shows like it drops the sunset version, but the current version is what actually drops upon quest completion. Hits like a truck with solid stability and a nice predictable recoil. It has a nice sight that looks good and leaves good visibility even while ADS. 1-shotting red bars combined with the subsistence perk means you can kill 20-30 mobs in a row without reloading and still have 5/8 rounds left in the mag. Currently chasing a roll with Subsistence/Adrenaline Junkie, but until I get it to drop, I'm loving the synergy that comes from Osmosis while playing Void with Nothing Manacles. Grenade kills drop a well and change Loud Lullaby to void, which then enjoys a 25% damage boost from Font of Might when I pick up the void well.

Reload is pretty slow, and I wish it could drop with a reload perk (cough*Outlaw*cough) but the hand cannon reloader perk shaves about 20% off the reload time, and a roll with subsistence means I very rarely even need to reload.

Bungie Plz: Let activities on the Leviathan count as progress for the Lectern quests.

Top tier hand cannon in pvp due to tunnel/kill clip being able to easily 2 tap 5/5 will not take off
Ok in pve due to it being able to do well on add clear, and do decent primary damage so 4/5
Good in gambit, two shoting on invades and being able to mutilate invaders So it’s a easy 5/5
Total score - 14/15 so a solid A tier weapon

One of the most underrated guns and probably the easiest 120 hand cannon to farm. My preferred roll for PvP is fluted, steady rounds, slideshot (or surplus for stasis hunter/other multi-ability subclass) and either explosive payload or eots, with anything but a reload mw. Since slideshot reloads your weapon, you really don’t need any reload perks or mods on your armor. Steady rounds increases the miserable stability to something more useable, as well as increasing the AE just a smidge. For dueling, this is a great weapon to have, since explosive rounds will either straight up outflinch your opponent or eots will let you land one more shot near the end of the duel. While some people (as well as the most popular roll) agree that range is everything, for a 120 hand cannon range is not an issue at all. Stick to stability and you too might fall in love with this underused moon gun.
For PvE stick to what you’re most confortable with, and you should be fine through 90% of all content in the game.

Even though it's sunset now I think it still worth picking up a rampage outlaw roll to use in non-light level pvp content. It not nearly as forgiving as the steady hand or true prophecy but the outlaw rampage roll feels really good.

Well well well, this gun has kill clip and THEREFORE can still 2 tap in crucible after a kill. Only other 120 hc that has this is crimil's dagger. Full bore, accurized, tunnel vision, and kill clip would be the god roll for pvp.

maybe one of the sexiest looking and sounding 120's but sadly still behind the bottom dollar, true prophecy and steady hand as they all feel much more forgiving. Im hoping when this is reissued I can get one that feels better than my current sunset one. despite that it still feels nice to use,

OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW!
I have a Smallbore/Tac Mag/Surplus/Frenzy roll and it feels amazing to use in PvE, not tried it in PvP yet but i'm very hopeful considering that it can roll with kill clip!
All and all an amazing pick for a 120 in PvE and PvP, AND ITS FARMABLE!
Get your hands on this sexy thing right now!

It has a low range stat when compared to other 120s, but it can roll kill clip.
The farm is not horrible so just grind a bit till you get one with kill clip and some nice range . I like surplus but that may not be for everyone, tunnel vision or heating up also make for awesome parings.

Surplus and explosive payload. Surplus offsets the weak stats and explosive payload offers that flinch.

Excellent in PvP but damn it's not nearly as good in PvE anymore. Losing Subsistence really sucks.
