Looks to be it's best version yet.

PvE: Overflow + Controlled Burst / Reservoir Burst will probably be the default, making it a void cousin to loaded question/eremite.

PvP: Haven't used it here, but I've seen a lot of people who never take it off, so I'll just say under pressure + high impact reserves / fragile focus / eye of the storm / successful warmup, a lot of perks are decent here.

Another year, another banger of a Glacioclasm. Score Overflow/Subsistence/Slideshot and Controlled Burst/Reservoir Burst on a roll, and you're golden. For PvP, Under Pressure and High Impact, Killing Wind/Heating Up and Successful Warmup, or Repulsor Brace if you're constantly debuffing targets.

The King is back, and more powerful than ever.

For PVE Overflow/Controlled Burst or for some ad clear Slideshot/Reservoir Burst (Honestly for me better synergy than Overflow but this one is good too) Edit: Actually i've dropped Subsistence + Reservoir Burst, and it's better than Slideshot for me. No need to slide for recharge the ammo, so if you roll Subsistence/Slideshot/Overflow is anyway a win for Reservoir burst combo

For PVP oh God have Mercy, Under pressure+HIR for a guaranteed 3 Bolt kill even with 100 in resilience, or Under Pressure with Successful Warm-up to trasform your High impact glacioclasm in an adaptive frame time after 1 kill.

Easily it's greatest version to date. Crucible has several solid options, my preference is Under Pressure and Successful Warmup to deal with multiple targets. PvE also has a plethora of choices, Controlled Burst/Reservoir Burst with your choice of Overflow/Subsistance or even Repulsor brace. Finally able to shelf Null Composure!

Oh, boy! It’s back! Better than ever!

Glacioclasm is the returning stat monster fusion that can rival any other fusion IN THE GAME. This thing boasts the highest stats in range and stability which are the two most important stats in the game on fusions. For this one specifically it’s a high impact so it also has the farthest one hit KO range with 3/5 bolts needed to hit on most resil levels. On top of that this fusion came back with CONTROLLED BURST AND OVERFLOW FOR PVE. Making this the void equivalent to loaded question, but being void.

Now let’s get into PVP first. All fusions in pvp need an accuracy perk hands down. This fusion can roll with UNDER PRESSURE. That’s the best perk in column one, but you also have killing wind which will increase your one hit KO range after a kill which is not bad. Second column you’re gonna want high impact reserves. This allows the fusion to push further into one hit KO range AND 3 bolt kill on every resil. Other honorable mentions include fragile focus, eye of the storm, and successful warmup. Obviously, you can use any of these perks for your play style, but what you really want on a fusion for pvp is consistency every time. Honestly, I prefer more range, but some people like recoil direction so you can go for arrowhead absolutely! Once again this is the FARTHEST ONE BURST KO FUSION IN THE GAME. YOU CAN GET 93 RANGE WITH UNDER PRESSURE.

PVP: Hammer/Smallbore/Arrowhead Projection Fuse, Under Pressure, High Impact Reserves, MW: RANGE NO DEBATE

Now for PVE. This is the void equivalent of Loaded Question, but non adept so no big ones unfortunately, but it can get overflow and controlled burst which will be your number one roll you wanna chase. Repulsor brace is also another honorable mention because it’s in the left column and can be run with controlled, but other than that I’d say that’s what to go for.

PVE: Any Barrel(Pref Arrow or fluted), Accelerated Coils, Overflow/Repulse, Controlled Burst, MW: Any (Handling pref)

Overall, this thing is a monster in PVP and a nice addition in PVE if you don’t have a god rolled loaded question. As for comparing both I’d say go for Loaded question for PVE as it can get big ones, but if you don’t care and want better stats go for Glac while it’s here.

I can't say much that other, wiser players than me haven't already said.

You want Overflow/Controlled or Overflow/Reservoir in PVE. Slideshot and Subsistence are alternative reload options, but I think Overflow is the clear winner. Repulsor Brace and Golden Tricorn may be fun gimmick options.

PVP: Note that Slideshot's range bonus only applies to the first bolt, so I won't recommend it here. Charge time masterwork no longer reduces fusion rifle damage, so kind of a no-brainer. Otherwise you want all range.

Column 4 has three standouts: High-Impact Reserves if you want to have a really consistent experience against T10 resil titans, Successful Warm-Up to nail double kills, and EOTS to kill people who are shooting at you. I personally like SWU, but HIR is also respectable. I think if you need EOTS, you may be doing fusion rifles wrong--precharge more or use a faster-charging frame. But if you do want to play in people's faces with a slow fusion, you're probably going to have EOTS up by the time this turtle gets rolling.

Column 3 also has three standouts: Under Pressure for the reasons it's always been good, Killing Wind if your goal is just to hit absurdly long range kills (20 range stat and a 5% damage dropoff distance multiplier on top of that), and Heating Up to go all in on "kill the second guy."

My favorite so far is UP/SWU, which has Projection Fuse, Full Bore, and a charge MW for 88 range. As far as I'm concerned that's 5/5, and it also has Killing Wind if I want to try that out instead (probably swap Full Bore to Arrowhead Brake in that case). High-Impact Reserves might be better for some playstyles, but I'm not really looking for a consistent experience out of this gun.

I also have Heating Up/SWU on a different, slightly worse roll. Might report back about that one.

If you are reading this after The Dawning and can't get this gun, look for Midha's Reckoning or Wizened Rebuke if you really want a solid high-impact fusion. You can also move to the slightly faster precision frame, where Plug One.1, Snorri, and Deliverance can offer a similar SWU playstyle while Main Ingredient (recently focusable from vanguard engrams!) continues to be a consistency king and The Epicurean provides a unique gimmick with Well-Rounded.

PvE: Overflow/ Subsistence + Reservoir Burst, Charge time MW
It feels good for Void centered builds, and its a good trash add killer like for thrall or shanks. Having constant Res Burst with overflow just feels right

PvP: Full Bore, Projection Fuse, Under Pressure, Successful Warm-Up, and a Range MW.
Thing kills from 20 meters and goes down to a 620ms Charge time down from 960 with warm-up, if you didn't get one you will regret it almost like the Xur main ingredient from so long ago ;_;

For me subsistence and reservoir burst is the godroll because every kill procs subsistence and reservoir burst at once for a void ad clear machine.

So in void surge activities, you'd use Techeun/Itterative/Burden?

High Impacts actually get the MOST benefit from controlled burst, as it takes off a more noticible chunk of charge time than it does on faster firing archetypes.

High Impacts are great in PvE, but it's understandable to prefer faster firing ones
