Fusa e riforgiata tante volte.
"Trovo strano il ciclo in cui ci troviamo. Sono morto molte volte. Sono rinato. La lotta pulsava nelle mie vene.
I vex, con le loro menti condivise, forse possono capire questa sensazione. Combattere per morire. Morire per combattere. Ancora e ancora.

Breachlight, aka "the one that made sidearms cool again", also "the one that made 2-burst sidearms cool at all" has returned to us in a shiny new form. In fact Demolitionist, Threat Detector, and Vorpal Weapon were the only perks to even survive the jump to reprise time. Everything else is new.
You actually have MORE damage perks now than you did before, if you can believe that. In fact, EVERYTHING in Column 4 is a Damage perk except maybe Hatchling - and what is a Threadling except more free damage? Of the perks, Demolitionist, Pugilist, and Slice likely have your attention in column 3, while Hatchling and one of Swashbuckler or Adrenaline Junkie will arrest your eyes from column 4 (at 2 stacks both Swash and Adren will outdamage 1 stack Desperate Measures, and after their respective ability kills they will always outdamage it, albeit for a slightly shorter time). Of them I have my eye on Swashbuckler, since it synergises with the new Dawn reprise origin trait that offers Handling and reserve loading for melee damage (which can overflow with an Episode Echoes artifact mod).
It's... probably not as strong for PvP, due to losing neutral game perks in column 4, but it still feels great to use. Probably tied for 3rd best Strand Sidearm in the game with Mykels Reverence (to be fair, number 1 is the freshly catalysed Final Warning and 2 is the new Strand rocket sidearm, so thats still seriously good). Go forth, and Breach some... Lights... ok not all the name puns can be great, okay? Flashlight on the underside doesn't even work...
GET PUGILIST + SWASHBUCKLER FOR INSANE MELEE SYNERGY
GET SEASONAL PERKS "SAINTS INSPIRATION" FOR OVERFLOWING MAG WITH MELEE KILLS AND "THREADED BLAST" TO TURN TANGLES INTO WARMIND CELLS AND YOU ARE SET TO DEFEAT THE WITNESS 💎💎💎
Cast No Shadows allows you to reload your gun with melee hits and swashbuckler gives a 33.3% damage upon landing a melee final blow
Melee kills give a nice bonus to handling, allowing for smooth access to a one-two punch or trench barrel shotgun.
This makes it an amazing gun to pair with any strand or prismatic melee build especially on strand titan and liars handshake hunter.
A 5/5 must have for PVE
In Episode 1 Echoes the ENIGMA PROTOCOL activity upon completion, the first 3 weapon rewards from chests comes with double perks (can be enhanced). Not farmable, just 3 per week per acount.
The combo with double perks should be
PVE: demo/pugilist + Hatchling/swash (hatchling kills can procc demo/pugilist), Slice in the mix is ok too
First let me start off by saying the god roll I recommend is mainly focused around Desperate Measure its is without a doubt the best perk in the 4th column and I will explain why. The reason I don't mention the 3rd perk is because it truly doesn't matter to much and its mainly on what you need for your build. The best perks in the column id say are Demolitionist or Pugilist and it depends on your build for these two if you get your melee back in other ways like in prismatic hunter Pugilist isn't that needed and Demo could be better and Pugilist can be good for those builds that don't have other ways of getting melee back for free. Threat Detector and slice are both great options too Threat Detector is an obvious choice because you will be in the middle of it with this gun all the time and slice is similar especially with hunter dodge.
Now the reason I say you should use Desperate Measure over perks like Swashbuckler or Hatchling is a simple one. Firstly Hatchling has no real synergy with this gun and while its a great perk there are plenty of other and better hatchling weapons. Now Swashbuckler is simply power crept that this point people its gone especially with Desperate Measure existing. First Desperate Measure last 7 seconds and needs 3x to enter max damage whereas Swash has 4.5 or 6.5 seconds with enchanted and needs 5 stacks to enter max damage. While yes you are losing 3.3% damage to swash who cares you need a whole 2 more kills and with Desperate Measure you can skip the 1x by getting a melee/nade kill to start off with and going right to 2x. And thats another thing you can get NADE kills you arent locked to only getting melee and gun kills to extend your timer. You also can activate the perk while stowed so you can easily use this gun with a one two punch shotgun allowing even more of a combo. This is simply an evolved form of Breachlight than what we had before and im all for it.
also no clue for pvp im a pve guy :P
But on a personal note, "my beloved"
Pugilist feeds your melee, melee feeds your Desperate Measures, and you get a 30% damage bonus that you can sustain as long as you keep killing things. You could easily swap out Pugilist with Demolitionist for a grenade oriented build.
At the time of this review this is one of 3 weapons that can get this perk combo, the other 2 being the Imminence SMG and the Chronophage Trace Rifle. me like
