Got one to drop with Demo/Field-Prep + Voltshot.
Voltshot feels stronger to me than Chain-Reaction on Forbearance. Jolt is very strong and hits ads that chain-reaction would not. It's also additional damage against beefier targets and can make use of all the subclass benefits (like champ stuns etc.)
Sadly Demo-Reload doesn't proc Voltshot.
I don't think Ambitious Assassin is the best pairing with it either since the perk wears off after you successfully jolt a target with the first shot.
Demo or Lead from Gold would be my personal choices.

It's a bummer Demo won't proc things like Voltshot or Heal clip but I still think the chase for this is going to be Demo + Voltshot for the grenade energy regen more so than the reloading. It's got pretty good base reload already so I don't feel a reload perk is as necessary on it.

I never crafted the forebearance so I'm stoked to try this out. I got demo/AA with voltshot and I'm sitting at 99 reload speed. I think it should be a fun wave frame to have. I guess it could be okay in PvP too, but I'd personally never use it in the crucible lol.

Absolutely a beast. I got the S Roll and it does very well with adds. Voltshot does what it does Lead from Gold does well to try to make sure you always have ammo for it. Love it!!!

Stats for all / One for all is just the easiest combo to use on this gun. Voltshot is fine but I found myself just missing Chain Reaction. Bait n Switch is fine but its got the same dmg buff as many of the other perks its not really a stand out perk here. If Eddy Current got a buff then that and Voltshot would make for a fun arc build. Overall its a fine gun, I sort of wish it was just not arc so it wasnt in direct competition with Forbearance.

Undercurrent is the newest Arc wave frame that was introduced to us in season of the Wish. To everyone’s surprise nobody really asked for another Arc adept wave frame, but I guess it’s easier to get if you don’t like raiding.

Now for the review. The Undercurrent is the second arc wave frame in the game with its only competition being the juiced up steroid forbearance. Now comparing these two weapons they’re basically pretty close with forbearance having higher base stats compared to the Undercurrent. They both can be adept and slot adept mods, but what really makes them different is the second column perks. The Undercurrent can get Voltshot while the Forbearance can get chain reaction. Now both of these perks are very powerful perks and are useful in different situation. What makes this gun different is that Voltshot has the ability to pair with Arc subclasses and have the ability to stun champions. Chain reaction on the other hand is basically Voltshot without needing a kill and just making massive explosions for really good ad clear. Voltshot is also great for ad clear with doing extra damage to ultras and bosses. Now the first column has a few perks that are interesting like demolitionist which gives grenade energy and ambitious assassin which you can get on both guns.

Now I believe both of these wave frames are amazing and have their own unique uses. I very much prefer the Undercurrent because of the ability to stun champions and add extra dps to ultras and bosses, but I also love forbearance because it’s the end all best ad clear weapon in the game. I also like undercurrent because it can get demo in the first column for free grenade energy.

Overall I really do feel like this gun is definitely worth grabbing if you’ll ever head into a champion activity with a wave frame, but 99% of the time you’re really not gonna bring this into a GM or any champion activity except for hero nightfalls. So I do think forbearance is just better in everything except that, but undercurrent does have its uses.

PVE: Light Launch, Velocity, Ambi/Demo, Voltshot
PVP: Why are you using this in PVP over Explosive Personality, but I guess the same as PVE except high ground and demo?? Not really a PVP weapon at all.

Overall, great gun has different uses. Grab this for high content and forbearance for everything else.

It's a chonky boi when holding it in your hands and If you do not have a crafted forbearance, this gl is a great side grade. Voltshot is great when running with an arc subclass with the right aspects but is alright when running it with any other subclass. I got a demo/volt roll and it is very sex.

Got a roll with field prep/b&s. It might be a good with damaging majors when low on heavy ammo (preferably when running with an MG or GL as they have better ammo reserves) but it feels off when you could be using a b&s heavy when you want to make something disappear.

I'm thinking a Quick Launch, High velocity, Stats for all, Voltshot would be the god roll. Base reload of 69 becomes 79 with High Velocity then gets a 35 buff from stats which if you're add clearing should be easy to proc. 100 reload should keep voltshot happy.

Ambitious is a real good perk for GLs but its very much counterintutive to voltshot, seeing as it only works on 1 grenade and AA prevents you from reloading to activate the perk. Stats for All on the other hand pairs perfectly with added reload speed after using voltshot allowing better chaining/DPS

If you're taking Voltshot, you probably don't want AA, since that's contingent on reloading and you'll want to reload after every shot. It's probably Field Prep or Stats For All, or maybe Lead from Gold if you have a fast enough reload already and want to spam it alongside a rocket or something.

I'm not completely sold on Bait and Switch for the reason that if you've already hit something with your heavy, it was probably the thing you'd needed Bait and Switch on this thing to kill it with a wave instead. Maybe I will be proven wrong, though!

I'm also wondering how quickly Attrition Orbs can proc on it, but as the gun's only been available for a couple hours, we'll have to see.

I tested Attrition Orbs - it's pretty bad. You need to hit 3+ ads with one "mag" (67% of the mag + 2 hits). You really need to line up the shot.
It's not tracked across multiple reloads, which i hoped for. So you can't hit 2, reload, hit another 2 and generate an orb. Not worth to choose over voltshot.
