« Qui ? » – Osiris

« Tu as raison. Il y a peut-être même de l'espoir pour Frère Vance », suggère Saint.

Osiris le fixe longuement sans un mot.

« Qui ? »

Saint se racle la gorge et change poliment de sujet.

This bad boy right here, is a real interesting handcannon. For one, it shares a lot of the characteristics of spare rations, but as a 120. This means extremely consistent reticle behaviour whenever it kicks, high stickiness to a target, and a far tighter ads, which enables you to use it in ranges far further than other handcannons. This also means that unlike damn near every other 120 handcannon in game, this actually still feels good to use in pve, when you're constantly being pricked and prodded at nonstop. And while the third column can get a little stale, as 120's still need a dramatic reload perk to be worth a damn, the 4th column is where things get interesitng.

Focused fury for one, is the sleeper perk in this entire pool, and actually behaves well in how it's supposed to function. This is because of the fact that this 120 hc only has 8 in the mag, you only need to land 4 easy headshots that don't have to be sequential to procc, in order to gain an easy damage buff, lasting 10 seconds. Slap on outlaw to pair with, and you basically have a workhorse gun, especially if you pair with any further surge mods or element surges.

If you don't like needing to hit 4 headshots and just want an easy to procc damage perk which doubles as a reload perk as well, nab frenzy instead. Sure, it's 5% less damage than focus fury, but in encounters that matter, you won't exactly be getting an actual ttk reduction until you cross the 30 - 40% damage buff range anyways, which requires an addition of either another surge mod, and / or a surge modifier to begin with.

Destabilizing rounds is another great one, especially for void builds, which benefit off generating void leeches from volatile (frag). And in s21, you can basically double down, without needing a dedicated fragment slot, just to get volatile rounds. Sure it's not as insane as just volatile rounds, but it's still perfectly viable for a add clear gun.

And finally, if all you care about is consistency, explosive rounds is ol reliable. 10% constant pve damage buff and a maximum dropoff damage at 50% of its damage, and you basically can use this as a scout, because just how consistent and good this gun feels to shoot.

Because people are stupid, it's usually #1 on a lot of guns, people literally just don't know how to play the game.

It’s not hidden anymore, it’s shown in-game now. They just mean that Targeted Redaction has a base recoil direction of 99, so people are giving up five points of stability and handling for that 1 point of recoil.

This origin trait is an absolute monster. The reverse surplus effect on hunter gives you what feels like 50 stability, 50 reload, and 50 handling. This handcannon can have pseudo max handling, stability, and reloading with well rounded and the origin trait. If you run Speedloader Slacks, which I highly recommend after the Stompeez nerf, you can max out reload and handling with one dodge and using both of your abilities.
This handcannon complements being extremely aggressive and is way better than seems on paper since it has horrible base stats.
If you want to use the Collective Action two tap build, its strong, but I think that explosive payload will be the clear choice if it gets nerfed/adjusted in PvP. Keep Away is surprisingly not needed if you lean into the origin trait, but its strong nonetheless.

With harmonic mods, unsated hunger, and well rounded, you can achieve insane stats. 92 impact, 93 range, 77 stability, 100 handling, 100 reload, 75 aim assist. I go for small bore, tactical mag, well rounded, explosive payload, and range MW. If you picked keep away, you could get range from 93 to 100, but I prefer explosive payload.

My favorite combo is spamming my abilities in a 3v3 activity like trials, and using wish ender to pre-aim and headshot someone, then swapping to this insanely fast (since 100 handling on a 120) and scoring ANY sort of hit for the 1, 2 combo kill. Your TTK is effectively as fast as you can swap between wish ender and this HC. So around 0.52 seconds. Just make sure to run one dex mod for kinetic and void so you can swap between wish ender and targeted redaction really fast.

Gun feels amazing, I can't think of a 120 with better stats, and unsated hunger is really easy to keep active. Just use your abilities as soon as you get them. I run void titan and I actually swapped to shield throw instead of bash so I could just chuck it and get rid of it.

Fairly strong hand cannon with amazing perks for PvP and PvE.

Outlaw + Destabilizing Rounds lets you turn a swarm of ads into purple kaboom, only thing holding it back is that it's a 120.

Invisible Hand + Collective Action will make anyone angry in the crucible sandbox.

10/10 would purple again.

Absolute PvP monster. While a lot of people will likely take collective action for easy two tapping, strand hunter also makes this hand cannon excel from the air. Throwing strand on with thread of ascent allows +30 Airborne effectiveness. Wearing lucky pants and an Icarus grip give this weapon a stat total of 80 AE. Combining this with keep away and well rounded grants an extra 30 range at max stats of well rounded. Overall great air dualing weapon, can’t wait to get it crafted

Well Rounded + Explosive Payload = PVP Monster. Running this thing's origin perk makes it into a laserbeam. The perfect gun when you're low on abilities.

PvE- It's a 120 hc. Just doesn't feel great in PvE but it has some okay perks.

PvP- This thing is fantastic and I'm not factoring in the collective action 2 tap build since that's cheesy and will probably get nerfed soon.
I'd recommend crafting this for high handling and stability. Range is pretty decent at base and can be addressed easily with the perk choices. At high stability this weapon feels fantastic and shoots with near the ease of use as the gun it's cloned after. The recoil and model of this gun just create a really smooth and visually unobstructed shooting experience.

For perks in first perk column- Well rounded is the best choice imo but I'm also going to mess around with perfect float (for the flinch resist) and shot swap. Well rounded helps improve the range for my roll, making it easier to justify running non range boosting barrels and mags. On something like strand hunter you can have very high uptime of this perk- works beautifully with the strand hunter helmet. Once well rounded is going, even at 1 stack and it just feels like you can't lose.

Last perk column- Keep away and explosive are the two most interesting to me. I'll probably end up going with explosive but both feel good. Collective action is really good and can work on a multitude of builds like void warlock for void breeches or solar hunter for firesprites... But because of the nature in which Behemoth titan can take advantage of free 2 taps this perk will likely if not certainly get nerfed. That being said, if the hypothetical nerf only affects the ability to 2 tap off of stasis shards, leaving other subclasses untouched then this could still be a very good perk. Focused fury is another good perk imo for people who like gunslinger or dawnblade. 120's are very easy to proc focused fury with given that the mag size is low to begin with. On this one you only have to land 4 precision shots to get the damage buff for around 12 seconds. This means you can have a very high uptime on the buff as you can continually loop it provided your hitting your shots. This allows you to 1 crit 2 body or even 2 tap with another damage bonus such as radiance. Explosive payload will probably be my final choice but there's several interesting options here.

The weapon feels great and will probably end up taking a lot of playtime away from my bottom dollar and adept igneous hammers. Big fan of this one and it also looks super cool, even with the gambit memento lol. If you're a 120 fan it's definitely worth getting- even without the cheesy behemoth titan build.

Very good hand cannon in both PvP and PvE. The perks are solid overall but the main downside is the guns incredibly slow reload speed.

Outlaw and Destabilizing Rounds make your Hunter pretty much invisible all the time when ad clearing. High impact takes down orange bars pretty easy with void surge mod.

Really liking this on my Hunter at the minute.

I don't know how this does in PvE, yet to try it.

PvP this is a monster. Stasis (preferably Titan) + Collective Action makes this a two-tap machine; it can deal 101 damage to the head. Bungie will ---hopefully--- fix this soon but it is an insane combination. Though if/when this does get patched, it can't compete with Rose (among others) in the current meta. No Rangefinder, no Slideshot, and Explosive Payload and Keep away are in the same column. Suffers from the similar issues as Epochal Integration as, until Rangefinder is nerfed so zoom and range are disconnected from one another, it cannot compete with the competition due to lacking Rangefinder. It isn't as bad as Epochal as it's craftable; it can get enhanced traits alongside having better stats.

It's a 4/5 from me. Currently due it's broken state it's a 5/5, but once that's fixed it's going to be more like a 3 up until the zoom changes.
