i mean, that's fine, it doesn't need to compete with scatter signal, it just needs to support damage rotations from an edge transit since it'll also inherit edge's void surge buffs.

I'd argue you don't even need an overflow or auto loading weapon. It's a Rapid Fire. They intrinsically give I believe a scalar when reloading on an empty mag. It's not a swap weapon besides maybe Withering Gaze on the other void Fusions. They're for major/champ killing and for Boss damage when you're out of your Heavy.

Or using it while your Anarchy or Dragons Breath is doing it's thing.

PvP though yeah that roll is the go-to. It's pretty broken until they possibly nerf Closing Time.

hard disagree. this is my favorite legendary fusion in the game, and it just got better. (my previous roll was ALH + high impact reserves. now i get ALH plus controlled burst). ALH is my favorite perk for fusions, and i kinda only run fusions with it. it's always reliable, works during every kind of encounter or situation, and you don't have to do anything to proc it. only downside is they recently slowed down ALH a little.

for me, the other perks you mention are ones i'd consider only if ALH *wasn't* available. they're finicky, and require the situation plus your behavior to be right to proc. ALH is always there doing it's thing, good for every moment of gameplay, even multiple re-procs during a DPS phase :)

not to mention, the intrinsic perk on all the reprised garden weapons adds some PVE utility on top of every roll!

Auto-Loading Holster + Controlled Burst for DPS

Lots of new perks for this reissue, only perks in common with the first iteration is Auto-Loading Holster/Feeding Frenzy/Under Pressure + Rampage. Shield Disorient is gone but its effects are part of the Photoinhibition origin trait.

As of Season 25 this is the first and only Fusion Rifle with Destabilizing Rounds.

Destabilizing Rounds + Reservoir Burst = Fun double explosion combo

Destabilizing Rounds + One for All, this roll does not synergize as well as you would think because applying volatile and enemies hit by a volatile explosion don't count as hitting a target to further proc the perk.

Subsistence + Reservoir Burst is a great roll for general PvE, if you don't already have it on Glacioclasm I recommend it.

This is the second Fusion Rifle with Attrition Orbs after Scatter Signal. This perk is not good on Fusion Rifles you need to hit a target 6 times with a mag of 7 and 8 to proc it, not worth it for a single orb.

Arguably the best in slot fusion rifle for damage currently with ALH and Controlled Burst. Definitely worth at least having the pattern for

Its in-slot competition does include some pretty good fusions, but all are either different elements or have a worse archetype. The only other notable void fusion is Glacioclasn, (worse archetype, only from Dawning), and the only notable energy slot rapid-fire fusion is Cartesian Coordinate (worse reload assist, worse damage perk, no origin trait).

Its only actual competition is with Scatter Signal, which has a comparable reload assist perk and the same damage perk but is in a different slot

Iterative Loop doesn't have any useful damage perks for a boss damage phase, unless you count the origin trait
