This is a sleeper hit. For general PvE and Titan bois, 1-2 Punch and graveyard works wonders. Greatly synergizes with your usual punch exotics like Worm.
If you want to use it for melting down bosses, it can do it in a pinch but generally that is not what rapid fire frames excel in though.

with the meta change and rapid-fire frames getting a chance to compete against giants like Astral horizon and Felwinter's lie for PvP you could go for rifled barrel/full choke + accurized rounds + surpluses/slide-shot + either vorpal or demolitionist and try not to sleep on it for PvE when we have IKLOS SG 1.0.2 with trench barrel

I enjoy using this shotgun a lot as i have a roll with slide shot and vorpal weapon i haven’t used it much in pvp because i just use felwinters and don’t enjoy pvp that much anyways

In PvE, it’s very fun. 1-2 punch is fine, but vorpal is so much more satisfying to go up to a major and unload a shotgun in their face. Surplus or grave robber circumvent reload speed so you can do it again, faster.

I got one that has Rrifled/Smooth bore, Extended Mag, Lead from Gold, and VOrpal weapon. If you want to destroy some beefy boys up close, this weapon does extemely well. I swap between it and my perfect CQC as needed(CQC with the seasonal warmind mod does give you some great ustility in nightfalls), but I do enjoy this gun. You just need to get used to rapid fire shotguns as they are quite different from others.

My favorite roll has been lead from gold and demolishionist. The gun (and this roll) are better for PvE, as rapid fire frame isn't what the kids are after in a PvP shotgun these days, but I find the refire rate has its advantages there too. The high ammo count plus lead from gold makes this a shotgun you can use a lot even if you don't have any shotgun ammo perks, so it's a great go-to shotgun even if you aren't a, "shotgun guy."

Got one with Lead from Gold and One-Two Punch currently. You're gonna want Vorpal over 1-2P here, the melee combo doesn't deal great burst damage due to the fact that this is a Rapid-Fire Frame. Fine overall but there's definitely better options out there.

PVE. Hip-fire grip and Vorpal Weapon shred champions up close, although it is pretty risky, it's a rapid fire frame shotgun so not much use in PVP even though I don't play it lmao

Similar to Toil and Trouble. Low handling but can hold up to 24 shells. High reload speed. Haven't used in PVP yet. Roll I have at the moment is Barrel Shroud/Tact Mag/Hip Fire Grip/Unrelenting.

This shotgun really PACKS a PUNCH, for real give it a go, it has really good potential for high mobility players and with amazing reload/ammo capacity, and it just feels good to use. I have it with Surplus and One Two Punch, I suspect it could be better with another roll

As for a quick clearing, Rifled Barrel + Light Mag + Dual Loader + Vorpal and Reload Speed Masterwork do a great job. But as for a meele build, this weapon seems kick hard with Rifled Barrel + any mag you want + Grave Robber + One-Two Punch and perhaps Range Masterwork (the one I had is Stability Masterwork instead).

With the new 10% buff to pellet shotguns you'll want this with dual loader and vorpal weapon, over anything that the ikelos shotgun can roll. Just as a note, a rally barricade or a lunafaction well/rift completely circumvents the reload speed nerf that dual loader puts on you. Unfortunately this weapon, even with the buff, is not going to be used much this season. However, it is going to be one good buff away from dominating the meta. I'd keep an eye one it.
