I tested a bunch of rolls and settled on Fluted Barrel, Seraph Rounds, Stats for All, One for All, and a Reload Masterwork for my crafted Ikelos_HC_V1.0.3. Barrel and Masterwork are personal choices, but I think Seraph Rounds, Stats for all, and One for All are the go-to for this Hand Cannon.

Generally, I'm not a huge fan of 180 Hand Cannons, but I do like this reprisal of the Ikelos HC in PVE. It feels like not only the best 180, but also the best version of this Hand Cannon. That's due in large part to how the perks Seraph Rounds, Stats for All, and One for All interact. Stats for All and One for All activate when you tag three separate enemies, even if one of those enemies is invulnerable. You get major stat buffs from Stats for All, including more range, stability, and reload. And One for All gives a 35% damage buff. Seraph Rounds overpenetrates meaning that you can tag more than one target with a single bullet and activate the aforementioned perks with fewer shots. That's right, it's not based on three shots, but on three enemies being shot. That makes it very quick and easy to activate these perks. I activate them without thinking in most encounters by just shooting into crowds of enemies. That means this HC has never felt comfier in general use. On top of all of this, it can spawn warmind cells and has innate Genesis. All of this makes me think the gun is especially good at clearing out red bars. It certainly punches above its weight.

Reality check though, it's not the absolute best primary. However, thanks to champion mods, we are sometimes forced to use primaries we otherwise wouldn't. If I'm forced to use a Hand Cannon for the sake of champions and want to run a void subclass, I think this is will be my go-to in that scenario.

In PVP, I don't know. It still doesn't seem great even with buffs to 180s. Then again, I'm not great in PVP so take that opinion with a grain of salt.

All I have to say is anyone saying this is 1.0 in crucible is crazy, I went on a 14 man killing spree with this weapon, and this was before the Gyrfalcons Hauberk change which btw volatile rounds with this hand canon only makes it better, now to be fair I have the god roll which is Rapid Hit and Frenzy, while the barrel being chambered compensator and magazine being Seraph rounds, absolutely a monster in crucible.

PVE: Has repulsor brace, instantly making it at least A-Tier for Gyrfalcon Users. Other than that, I have to say that Posterity, unfortunately, has it beat for everything, ad-clear and major damage because of Voltshot in the third column. The only other thing it might be viable for is Lucky Pants usage for Hunters, since this is the only non-sunset void 180 HC, with the only other void one being either Palindrome (unobtainable), or Exalted Truths, for which RNG can be a cruel mistress. Overall, worth getting and leveling a roll for a void hunter, but useless for practically everyone else.

PVP: Damn, this thing is flying under the radar. With subsistence, golden tricorn, and the Rasputin's arsenal origin trait, you can run around 3 tapping any resil guardians without ever having to reload. (assuming u don't take over 6 shots to kill, which frankly would be kind of embarrassing) Obviously, why use subsistence since Rasputin's Arsenal has got you covered for the majority of the time? As such, I would recommend prospective users to favor Rapid Hit, or if they are skillful enough to get at least one kill from the initial duel, Air Assault for the weapon. Rapid hit needs no introduction, and Air Assault can easily put this thing into 100 AE, which for controller players practically means being on the ground. As with any 180, its performance depends heavily on the user. If you lack the skill to get the first kill and then aggress onto more targets without saying and using golden tricorn's 7s timer effectively, this gun is absolute garbage. And also as with any other 180, Posterity with Perfect Float and Frenzy will probably be better for 3's or Trials, not requiring a kill to activate, as securing the first kill in either of those 2 game modes usually is done via special ammo, and any competent team can usually capitalize off of a kill to push the round into a victory well enough with team play, and getting aggressive with ur .67s ttk HC won't mean much after u get domed by a sniper, pushing the round back into equality or worse depending on where each players' ghosts are and the difficulty in reviving them

TLDR: Use if you are a lucky pants or gyrfalcon hunter, but ignore in PVE otherwise. Use in 6's for PVP with Rapid Hit/Air Assault and Golden Tricorn, but use Posterity for Trials or Competitive if you really wanna use 180s for AE.

Just came here to say that there is a nifty little synergy between the fact this gun makes warmind cells and repulsor brace because you can use the mod that makes warmind cells suppress nearby enemies and then kill them for an over shield. It’s definitely more of a novelty or gimmick, but that gameplay loop on a void warlock was some of the most fun I have had since I discovered ruinous effigy…

That out of the way I think subsistence/rampage is best for low end content and rapid hit/frenzy for end game. If you need a void hand cannon for unstoppable champions this season, this is a genuinely decent gun for that purpose.

It's fine enough for pve. Subsistence/Rapid hit + Frenzy is a pretty good combo, you also have Stats for All + One for All as an option, although that combo isn't as good on a slower weapon like this. Does the job for a void primary if you need to use a hand cannon for a champion mod.

Seraph rounds cracked, precision frame has like no recoil and feels fun, rapid hit turns it into a laser and helps reload, tricorn is an 8s 3 tap in pvp with enhanced and can be refreshed, in pve that can turn into a 50% buff to help compete with other hand cannons
Craftable and backup mag can provide ungodly ammo this thing is really slept on
Smallbore, seraph, rapid hit, tricorn, range mw, give it a try in pvp especially with free hc targeting once you get tricorn it can pop off

Been playing around with a subsistence and focused fury roll. The partial reload from Rasputin's Arsenal and Subsistence gives a much higher up time for focused fury than you'd expect, giving it a really respectable damage output.

Also have a Rapid Hit Repulsor Brace roll, and again, breaking shields to get both a reload and an overshield is definitely not to be overlooked. It's really nice as part of a close range build.

For void hunters making the most out of Gyrfalcon's this season post buff, Repulsor Brace synergizes with the chest piece really nicely. Combo this with an ammo perk, like Subsistence, Rapid Hit or Stats for All and you won't have too much downtime between shooting and reloading.
My Rapid Hit + Repulsor Brace roll lets me play fairly aggressive in the seasonal content and let me have a safety net when I need one. Solid gun for sneaky hunters.

(Subsistence) parred with (Repulsor Brace or Rampage/Frenzy) = Never having to reload + insane survivability/damage. This is a Certified Gyrfalcon Hunter Classic. Easy to farm (rng af tho), and
since its a hand cannon can easily snipe last hits from your greedy teammates :).

I recommend Fluted Barrel, Seraph Rounds, Subsistence, Repulsor Brace, Increased Range/Handling, and Backup Mag/Minor Spec.

I got the supposed highest popularity roll for this ages ago and suddenly my C- tier roll for this suddenly went to S+
Im not a huge fan of FF but for PvP, it literally takes 2 guardians killed by just headshots to turn this thing into a 2 HS 1 Body, plus I love throwing tripmines, making this thing a 1 Grenade 1 HS kill (pain) and due to the 3 shots/second, that's a literal frickin 0.15TTK from the initial Grenade hit
So really, I'd much rather Subsistence or Rapid Hit + Rampage or GT (MAYBE Frenzy), but yeah

So. this is a semi decent HC for PvE, and well its a 180 rpm so PvP is up to personal preference, but you're at a disadvantage for TTK in 90% of scenerios. with the gyrfalcon change on void hunters. weapons with repulsor break have been becoming meta for survivabilty with great synergy. the reason i give this weapon is for the perk pool. unfortunately you wont be getting a damage perk with repulsor, which currently is what this weapon would be used for on hunters specifically. for other classes and in the game in general. PvE HCs are few and far between, and i dont think this weapon will out perform anything unless warmind cells get a rework in the future.

Overall. id recommend getting maybe 1 or 2 decent rolls, and see if warmind cells make a big comeback.
