Buzzard

Circle 'round, great harbinger of death.

"This is foolish," Mithrax says, empty hands spread.

The Trostland forest had been quiet until three Eliksni jumped from their hiding places with weapons sparking with Arc energy. Two Dregs and a Vandal. They bear House Salvation's sigil.

"Misraaks, the Forsaken," one Dreg clicks, brandishing a spear. "Come to kill us?"

"No," he says, staring them down. "I will not harm you."

"You lie like a Human."

Mithrax sees the shift of the spear in the Dreg's hands the moment before he lunges. The Kell avoids its thrust and grips the Dreg by his head, slamming it into the ground with a hard crack. The Vandal draws a sidearm. Mithrax rushes him, grabs him by the wrist, and wrenches the gun upward. The Vandal's lower hand jabs a knife in the soft flesh between Mithrax's carapace. He barely feels it—the Kell of Light puts a hand around his attacker's throat and squeezes the life from him.

The third flees. Mithrax lets him.

The Kell pulls the knife from his side and drops it among the pine needles, pressing a hand to his wound.

Perhaps, when all the violence was done, the future he could give the Eliksni would be worth it. Would justify everything he had done. Every death, every act of cruelty… or kindness. Or love.

He knows that Eramis hoped for the same.

For now, Mithrax can only leave the two Eliksni where they lie. He will come back later for their funeral rites.

outlaw + squashbuckler is the way to go, melt even major at incredible speed as long as you know how to actually use squashbuckler, ranged melee is great combo with this
its very easy to keep this at squashbuckler x 5 thanks to it high fire rate and good precision hit register
how strong is it? at x5 stack, body shot do almost the same damage as my 180rpm Trust Hand cannon precision shot, and this thing rpm is 300!
x5 stack and spam precision hit melt yellow bar like hot knife cut thru butter

I wasn't into sidearms before...Until I met Buzzard. Buzzard is tons of fun to use in pve and I even bring it into raids and master nightfalls. As for pvp, it performs pretty decently.

It never had it's chance to shine and I miss it.

Also, was and still is the only Sidearm with a target/enemy highlighting 'scope', albiet an extremely tiny one. The more you know.

It's an easy sidearm that can do both PVE and PVP (Although your mileage will vary for crucible depending on the map)

Snappy, and easy to obtain. Nothing more to say than: 'good work Bungie!'

It’s okay. Realistically you’re using Outlaw + Swashbuckler close to 100% of the time, which is a straight downgrade from Grave Robber + Swashbuckler Lonesome. Osmosis is cool for shield popping (and voidlocks) but without a damage perk or any range it’s not practical, and you can get it on weapons better suited to the purpose. It does it’s job in crucible, but other sidearms with opening shot or other PvP perks do it as well or better.

My fav sidearm to date in PVE. I don't play a ton of PVP, but when I do, I rarely take a sidearm, so I can't speak to that side of the gun.

Nothin special. It’s fine in pvp if you like sidearms but outclassed by better guns. In pve the gun is severely outclassed by much better sidearms like lonesome or last hope.

A solid PvE weapon. I've paired it with major spec and it melts orange bars beautifully quick. Haven't tried it in PvP though

Very reliable weapon. In PvE it has a great set of available perks and can absolutely tear through enemies. In PvP it's a very good weapon, killing enemies at close to mid range very fast. My go to secondary for PvE and PvP alike.

This and Drang are favorite sidearms for both PvE and PvP. Buzzard is very underrated in Crucible. You can go ham with this CWL mods like Taking Charge + High Energy Fire combo and Surprise Attack. I went 36 kills on my second try with this weapon on Crucible using this build.

The ability to switch damage types is nice, and this thing shreds rank and file opponents like they are paper. Much better sidearms for the crucible however.
