Being in combat for an extended time increases damage, handling, and reload for this weapon until you are out of combat.

After being in Combat for 12 seconds:
Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds.

Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration.

For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds.

Frenzy is activated for the weapon after being in combat for 10 seconds even if the weapon with Frenzy is stowed so you can quickly swap to your heavy/special to immediately have the buff, or just use it at the end of combat to quickly reload for the next encounter. Amazing for PvE. Makes linear fusion rifles fun in nightfalls.

It lasts forever and the buffs are definitely noticeable. This is my new go to perk. I'd run it on about anything.

"Combat" in this instance, counts as taking or dealing damage within 5 seconds. Very easy to keep this perk rolling, but can fall off in harder content when you are waiting for health to regen.

I think this is my new favourite perk for aggressive pvp, got it on an Extraordinary Rendition and its just insane once you’re in the middle of battling everyone in 6v6. Its basically a mix of feeding frenzy, surrounded and threat detector. Pretty much master of arms 2.0

Frenzy is able to boost your weapon damage to be equal to pr greater than adept weapons with "Big ones" weapon perk on.

Very strong in GM nightfall.

This mod was nerfed in season 15, from 20% to 15%, and it seems uptime is the same as previous.
I think now Vorpal is better, because seems still stacks double on vehicle enemies tagged as bosses, and doesn't need to activate.
Still useful when there is no better perk on the weapon.
