Code Duello

Lasting Impression will use 2 charged with light stacks per rocket (one for impact and one for the detonation)! If you are running Argent Ordnance you may want to go for something like Volatile Impact + Cluster Bombs or Volatile + Frenzy.
When ignoring Argent Ordnance Lasting Impression is very strong. Overall great rocket!

I did some light testing with this with the Lasting Impression perk. You have ample time while playing solo to stick a rocket to a boss, swap to Divinity, and get the debuff up before the rocket detonates. Versus Carl at 1270 light or so, this combo did 93k damage just from the rocket.

PvP score exclusively because sticking someone with Lasting Impression and them nuking their team would be mad funny

Auto loading holster and lasting impression lets this be a poor man's anarchy during the taniks fight for those without anarchy or for whoever is running divnity. With all buffs it can do about 130k per shot which if you pop all 4 cores at once means about another 400k per damage phase.

Impulse Amplifier and Frenzy are excellent. Shoot stuff with your primary for a couple seconds then swap to the rocket and go to town on a boss.

Auto-Loading Holster and Cluster Bomb with Blast Radius MW is honestly the way to go, primarily really good for clearing adds
Buuuuut on the off chance you bring it into something like Crucible (or Gambit), it's got such a FAT explosion radius with Cluster Bomb that you'll deal some heckin damage even if your rocket was off in Narnia

I have one with Lasting impression and I just like the idea of stabbing a boss or enemy with a rocket, just to have a huge blast radius when it does go off.

Looking forward to the sort if builds it'll lead to.

Hard Launch, Impact Casing, Auto Loading Holster and Lasting Impression w/ Blast Radius MW. Pretty much perfect for DPS, only thing I'd change is masterwork to velocity! Now looking for the PVE wave clear roll...

After playing around with a few I settled on impulse amplifier and lasting impression. BY FAR the most fun I have had with a rocket launcher. (also more forgiving "most" of the time)
It was a bit rough to learn to not rely on tracking but sticking Majors with these and watching them disappear is just too much fun. Also great for hit and run boss engagements.

Best legendary PvE rocket launcher by far. I like my Field Prep and Chain Reaction. The actual best perk combo I believe is impulse/frenzy but with field prep you can hold 10 rockets at a time with a reserves mod :) for a RL its pretty average in PvP but impulse amplifier does make it a bit deadlier/pinpoint accurate

Has very good perks.
I would go for
Impact + Auto-Loading + Lasting/Frenzy/Cluster with its amazing handling stat to pair with another dps weapon while it auto-loads.
you cant get to 100 reload on this rocket over others that can roll this other roll but if you wish:
Alloy + Impulse +Lasting/Frenzy/Cluster is always good.
For just fun ad-clear, anything that bumps blast to 100 +
Alloy+Impulse/Auto-loading/Chain Reaction

Field prep/ Impulse amplifier and lasting impression is going to AMAZING for PvE with new buff. In PvP, Clusters and Quickdraw wont be a bad option, but in PvP I feel machine guns and nade launchers are probably better Imo.

This rocket has some cool perks that need testing. With the first perk I'm curious whether field prep, surplus, or impulse amplifier will give the best reload. What really needs testing is frenzy, cluster bombs, and lasting impression. I have a feeling that impulse amplifier, lasting impression, argent ordinance will be stupid good for taniks.

I was very sad when Roar of the bear got sunset, i am no more. This thing is a perfect replacement maybe even better. Ive got good reload with Alloy casing, 2 more in the reserves with Field prep and Ambitious assassin for 2 missiles in the magazine almost always, guaranteed with the high damage it does. Not yet sure on the pvp role.

After testing, I can say this is a pretty solid rocket launcher. My go to roll is Auto-Loading Holster + Lasting Impression with Hard Launch & Impact Casing. Yes there may be way better options but shut up, but this is the only rocket launcher I have with Lasting Impression and I love the perk already, shoot a rocket, switch to special, wait for it to load in the background (with Auto-Loading Holster) while shooting your special and then shoot another and repeat until damage is over.
