AUFZEICHNUNG: Sicherheitslogbuch E.P.-Station, MTRLv2.18
IDENTITÄTEN: C. Bray I, M. Liu
TESTSUBJEKT: Sgt. Traore
//TSK_GEHEIM

[M.L.] Testsubjekt erfolgreich durch das Portal geschickt. Direktübertragung ist live. Mehrere Feinde entdeckt.

[C.B.] Es sind … so viele.

[M.L.] Die Vex-Zahlen sind momentan unkalkulierbar.

[C.B.] Also, worauf warten wir noch? Artillerie starten.

[M.L.] Ziele erfasst.

[C.B.] Wie viele Ziele werden verfolgt?

[M.L.] Vier.

[C.B.] Das ist nicht genug. Feuer. Jetzt.

[M.L.] Testsubjekt unterliegt starkem Widerstand. Die Exo-Hülle wird schwer beschädigt.

[C.B.] FEUER. JETZT.

[M.L.] Geschosse 1 und 2 abgefeuert. Zwei bestätigte Treffer. Sir, die Fackelhämmer schmelzen Sgt. Traore. Erbitte Rückholung.

[C.B.] Verweigert. Geschosse 3 und 4 abfeuern.

[M.L.] Der linke Arm wurde abgetrennt. Er ist handlungsunfähig. Erbitte Rückholung.

[C.B.] VERWEIGERT. Er hat noch einen rechten Arm. Wo ist die Übertragung?!

[M.L.] Testsubjekt offline. Übertragung verloren.

[C.B.] Um Himmels willen … Sehen Sie, was uns dieses Zögern kostet? Und diese Feigheit?

[M.L] …

[C.B.] Egal.

Seems to be the weird Frankenstein'd Gjallarhorn, Wardcliff and Truth all at once...

Clovis is a madman and may have done terrible stuff, but this has to be the top of any war crime imaginable

Utterly unhinged. The Adaptive Ordnance buff is easy to activate, stays while stowed, gives a sizeable buff to the weapon's damage, and lasts for minutes. The tracking of the individual rockets is so intense it will bend around corners to kill people in Crucible, and has enough range to snipe people cross map in Gambit. Even without heavyweight it will tear apart add packs, delete majors, and out dps most other weapons in slot against bosses.

a beautiful creature that was created from a weird love orgy with ghorn, wardcliff and twin tailed fox that absolutely destroys bosses and guardians alike whilst also being the nuttiest weapon in existence

181,700 burst damage with the buff procked and 51,700 Prolonged DPS if the first volley has the buff with 1,000,000 full ammo damage. I'd say that's pretty F'ing good lmao. Definitely going to be a staple in my inventory. I think its value in the crucible is in between Wardcliff and Truth. It has the multi-kill potential of Wardcliff and the range of truth, but the delay on the tracking is why I think it's value is in between the other two I mentioned.

So I didn't know Truth and Wardcliff were having an affair, but I think this is the only explanation for this. Crazy tracking, 6 death missiles, and some of the best burst damage in the game, on top of the fact that it is solar so there are some crazy warmind builds to be made. In conclusion, It isn't the most meta thing out there but bloody hell is it fun. Thank you, Bungie for feeding us these crazy guns, and keep em coming.

How it holds up in witch queen: still pretty dang good. Not the greatest against bosses after the nerf, but it's mob clearing potential is great and the buff it gets is still very strong. In current gambit it's not as good as it used to be, mainly because heavy ammo is so plentiful. While invading, the half second it takes for the tracking to kick in on the missiles will frequently kill you as everyone will have their gjallarhorn aimed directly at your feet. Still has potential to pretty much wipe the team out with no effort, and in crucible it's even more scary. Definitely still one of the best PVP heavies.

Perk does not require you to use the launcher to activate, any multikill in a group of 4 will proc adaptive ordnance. Could be a bug, probably is

+Very high fun factor,
+Highly efficient CC (deletes everything and can trigger wrath of rasputin warmind cells)
+Gambit invasions.
+Extremely aggressive tracking,
+Good burst damage for dealing with champions from afar.
+Can one floor Atraks-1.

-incredibly poor boss DPS due to the 50 % damage nerf against bosses, unless it’s strikes with the right modifiers.

Overall a very entertaining and badass ’trophy’ raid exotic at best.

A near perfect exotic in the current patch, So let’s start.

For PvE: An absolute monster, it has high ammo reserves, a solid reload speed, and a stellar economy. Some people dislike it due to how it is supposed to be used as ad clear, but it’s actually better that way; while it may not make the eyes do a lot more damage, it still is valuable. Best rocket for solo content, but can struggle due to how powerful LFR’s and team based rockets are. (I wanted to mention something, If you know it’s special sauce, AO Canceling, it can do top teir dps.)

For PvP: A great option, of course it is a heavy, but due to its generous tracking and excellent fire power, it can easily turn the tide of a battle in a single volley.

For PvX: Also god tier, can full team wipe the opponent side, gets a large chunk of ammo for every box, can be used for boss dps, ad clear, and either attacking or defending from or against the enemy side.

Final Notes: Nearly perfect, while it still lacks a catalyst, which hopefully one day it will receive, it can do basically everything to a terrifying effectiveness.

As Clovis Wished, It leaves your path unhindered to any threat. The Heavy Master of All.

4 ammo per package with scavenger. One round (you shoot 6 with one shot) is enough for killing a guardian in gambit. A better tracking than Truth. Fantastic dps. Spectacular ad cleaner. Do you need something else?

Insane. Gets multikills in pvp incredibly easily, and does very good damage in pve. Perk is currently bugged, a 4x multikill with anything gives you adaptive ordnace.

I love this exotic for solo activities, it can absolutely shred majors / champions, the adaptive ordinance buff only let's it do that faster while also being a great ad clear gun, I loved using it in legendary / master lost sectors. In activities with a fireteam it does seem to lack a bit though, it's hard to get 4 enemies close enough to eachother and have your teammates not kill them before you but still a great gun.

Ignore all the previous reviews that (rightfully) called this thing trash, with the season 21 buff, anytime you kill 4 enemies with the weapon, which is incredibly easy on a rocket launcher, you generate 1 heavy ammo out of thin air. Combine this with the bonus damage from killing 4 targets and Eyes now has a solid place as viable addclear and Major/Miniboss DPS.

Truthfully, I think Eyes gets a lot of hate because people are misinterpreting how you use it.
TL;DR: It's an add-clear weapon.
It benefits from buffs like Radiant and Hazardous Propultion, (With enhanced rockets x6 from Haz + its own Adaptive Ordinence perk, it actually does almost double damage compared to a base volley) but it shines with add-clear.
Ex: Run solar warlock with heat rises and helion, phoenix dive, and the Ember of Empyrean fragment and you have a top tier add clearer that is nearly impossible to kill. Consume your nade, fly up and lock onto targets, fire and immediatly phoenix dive. Hit the ground, spawn Helion, then fly up again and your good. By the time the rockets hit their targets, you have a few seconds left on heat rises, as well as Restoration x2 (from phoenix dive + heat rises), which are refueled by Empyrean all the way to their max, on top of refunding your ammo. Mix in a Solar siphon mod + Reaper mod and your spawning hundreds of orbs. A single scavenger mod makes sure you are topped off on ammo (assuming your even low to begin with), and Powerful Attraction along with some Solar Surge mods means your taking out yellow bars in Legend Onslaught without issue.
