TIP: New Season & Popularity Ranks
It's a new season! Popularity ranks can change rapidly at the start of a new season, especially on new weapons.
Be careful jumping to conclusions for a week or so as the meta starts to shake out.
TIP: Popularity Ranks
The letters F thru S below are Popularity Ranks. They measure how popular your roll is versus the most popular roll for this weapon among the global community. The most popular roll is ranked S+. The least popular is ranked F-. Popular doesn't necessarily mean "good"; unpopular doesn't necessarily mean "bad". Use what you enjoy!

For PvE, Subsistence and Perpetual Motion are in the third column, and Incandescent, Frenzy, Multikill Clip, Adrenaline Junkie and Golden Tricorn are in the 4th. It's a shame that this gun doesn't have Demolitionist in the third column, Adrenaline Junkie and Golden Tricorn could go wild if it did.
For PvP, Tunnel Vision, Rangefinder, Perpetual Motion and Killing Wind are in the third column. The only perk that I can recommend for PvP in the 4th column is actually Gunshot Straight, since this gun just isn't stable enough to reliably land precision hits. You could try and make Adrenaline Junkie work, but I wouldn't recommend it. Just don't try and make Frenzy work; if you're getting that to proc on a Pulse Rifle, you're doing something wrong. Pulse Rifles are mid-range weapons, and you should never let anyone, let alone 3 players, get that close to you for that long.
IMO, Jurassic Green is an alright pulse. The only problem it has is competition from Piece of Mind and the BXR. Piece of Mind is the same archtype, but has better stats in every category. Seriously, you can check. And the BXR, is the BXR. They're both solar too, which doesn't do Jurassic Green any favors. But worst of all, Piece of Mind and the BXR are both craftable. So, either you can spend your time farming for a limited edition, below-average pulse rifle, or you can craft a pulse that's exactly what you want.
Forget that horror of a gun Horror Story. Farm this instead.
This can also roll with Heating Up and Multikill Clip akin to Gridskipper so if you have another gun if you hate farming for those Decrypted Data .
Also this is the only solar pulse a PvE player can get, as Forged Pledge is iron banana only and Stars n shadow is crucible only.
Thus a must have for pve players to farm.
there's not enough range and the recoil on this thing is so trash that even as an m+k player its hard to get precise hits. if I were to use it id probably go arrowhead, ricochet, heating up, incandescent but again there's already 2 solar pulses that do the job much much better.
Dinosaur
Because of this, I'd actually prioritize rolling a barrel like Arrowhead over whatever you find in the 4th column, since it really does make that much of a difference.
